24. whats a compliment about your art that has always stuck with you?

Can't remember what fanart was it, but one time someone said that I'm good at depicting casual intimacy. This comment made me look at my other works and realize that this is really what most of my art is about, both fanart and writing, what I am trying to capture in my art over and over. This feeling/image(?) of non-explicit and non-intensive closeness and silent understanding. So yeah, this one person and their compliment really helped me understand my own art better :p

30. whats something youre proud of about your artstyle?

I guess the way I draw faces and expressions, especially smiles. To me a smile is the most attractive physical trait in a person thus I really enjoy drawing people smiling and I love how it looks in my style. And overall I think my characters are very expressive to the point that I believe I can 1) tell a story or 2) set a mood of the scene (be it goofy, creepy, romantic or melancholic) by just showing someone's face and nothing more

Oh, I also love my "chibi" artstyle, its cute, fits every character and it doesnt take much effort to draw in this style, so even if I experience artblock or executive dysfunction wont let me create I can always draw some lil guys to make myself feel better and get some motivation to get back to the main project

#my dad used to be a heavy smoker and would even smoke in the house and in the car... he made me hate cigarettes as young as at the age of 5 #the smell is so disgusting it gives me a terrible headache #also several men in our family have suffered a stroke and one of the causes was always smoking so yeah.. this fact is haunting as fuck
