idk how ppl find twitter ‘more bearable’ than tumblr. i log onto tumblr and i see posts from the same handful of ppl i’ve come to expect, displayed in chronological order. then i log onto twitter and it’s like “here’s a seemingly random collection of posts arranged in order of how angry we think they’ll make u! also, every celebrity and major world leader is on here trying to earn their master’s degree from Clown University”

there's so, so much dyadic people don't know about intersex oppression - especially by the medical & psychiatric system - and it's killing me.

these systems say we're disordered for existing as we are. its members abuse and neglect us. intermedicalism (the medicalization of intersexness) exists; it's harmful, and it's part of the same story as the pathologization of (other) queer people.

while not all intersex people identify as queer because they're intersex, many of us do. we need our dyadic queer siblings to be aware of and fight intersexism. we need you to include us - and you need us. queer liberation can't happen if anyone gets kicked to the curb.

Accepting identities I don't understand is actually extremely easy because I just go "this isn't about me" and move on with my life unbothered by someone else's identity, it's truly that simple.

among us is the latest joke to enter what i call "joke orbit." it was one of few modern memes that gathered enough force to remain alive throughout the period where everyone fucking hated it for being overdone. and now it's back to being funny, simply by virtue of its refusal to die. it is a self-propogated meme now. like a satellite stabilizing in the outer edges of the planet's atmosphere, among us has established itself in our collective subconscious. it's probably never going to fully die, like how our perception of the shrek movies will never really go back to normal and how we look so fondly on rickrolling

i like that the name nuzlocke stuck. like the original thing was just called hard mode but it featured a nuzleaf named after locke from lost and to this day its still called a nuzlocke. theres even variations like wonderlocke. like the locke part became a suffix. i like that. i really like how words happen

tumblr creating a group chat feature that was so horribly designed no one ever wanted to use it (and inexplicably publicly visible?), phasing it in by infecting random users without making an announcement, watching as it sat unused for like a year, and then wordlessly removing it is such a deeply tumblr act. you don't get this anywhere else
