something of note: in Hikari’s chapter two, there’s a two-stage boss fight again Bandelam, the Grim Reaper. in the first phase of the fight, you initiate by challenging him, and a cutscene plays after beating him there before transitioning into the real fight. you only get your full team in the second phase. now, there’s also a piece of travel banter (with Agnea) that implies that Hikari went into the arena alone; the other travelers were in the audience.

my conclusion? the rest of your party full JUMPS INTO THE ARENA when shit starts going down. i love this game.
