why you should have hope for separatism:

-this is one of the first times in history where women en masse are educated and (are expected to) participate in the working class which means now more than ever women are better equipped to take care of their own financial needs (even with all the tradwife influencers, not many women will be able to convert because house-wifery is strictly limited to the upper-class, which is shrinking more and more, so most women will always have to work anyways, and most women see this! even the ones that joke about being housewives/strippers are serious about their careers!)

-separatism is mostly non-action. it is strategic non-interaction with men or male media which makes it extremely accessible and easy to replicate across cultures. it removes women from exploitative relationships with men. this means the only thing you need to do to convince women to become separatists is attack the idea that their lives will be unfulfilled without men. and more women and girls are embracing that culture simply because of their experiences (and access to education)!

-late stage capitalism and the rise of blatant misogyny men display is radicalizing women. which means more and more women are open to living together and raising children together romantically/platonically. (literally every woman i've talked to who's unmarried lives with their parents or wants to live with women because men are genuinely an unattractive option--thank you men for showing your asses <3)

-the internet and globalization positions women from all over the world to share their experiences (and we have many shared experiences), which means consciousness-raising has never been faster or easier or more powerful!

-men and boys are failing and dropping out of school way more than women and girls which means that women and girls are on the way to dominating academia and relevant industries! women will make up more of the skilled workers in future job markets which means that women who are educated now will likely be better off and more pursued financially than men. women's influence in society is increasing! think about it. as much as male violence is increasing, male literacy and competence and skill is DECREASING (even nepotism or sexism will not be enough to fix that problem because hiring men will still result in profit losses and other financial inconveniences). in short, male culture is killing men!

-resistance to pornography and understanding the evils of pornography are also increasing. awareness of male violence is increasing!

please read more literature on separatist strategies and don't think whatever is happening on tiktok/IG is how all women think. most women irl are not stupid enough to trade in their jobs for prostitution because women don't actually want that. many women i've talked to in real life also don't want children (in these conditions or at all)! they aren't radfems but they still have self-preservation instincts and intelligence!

there is literally so many ways we can use the current sociopolitical climate to our advantage. it is too early to give up. like wayyyy to fucking early.

Part of my “peaking” was realizing that not only will I never be a man; I also feel completely unable to relate with men in so many circumstances. I’m far from perfect, but living as a trans man allowed me a glimpse of male depravity I’d never seen before.

A former roommate, at the time one of my closest friends, casually mentioned that he’d been banned from multiple dating apps for sending sexually aggressive messages to women. He was laughing as he told me this, like that was totally Normal Behavior and not revolting at all. He seemed startled how negatively I reacted to him telling me this, because all his other friends thought it was funny.

Another friend, a male feminist™️ in the “ethically non-monogamous” dating scene, talking about how empowered women are for allowing him to beat and strangle them while having sex. He was questioning why all these so-called feminist women wanted him to beat them, and completely neglecting to reflect on why he was getting off on harming them.

Idk if this is something that is inherent to men, or if this is endemic in my age group, but once I started picking up on it I could no longer ignore it. I was hearing these things from so-called liberal men, who were kind and funny and thoughtful in other ways but would suddenly blindside me with their violently misogynistic tendencies.

None of my female (or FTM) friends are like this. So naturally I’m wondering “why is that?” if gendered socialization doesn’t exist and sex isn’t real…

Not enough cautionary tales in literature these days where sometimes the thing tempting you to leave your friends and family behind for a "higher purpose", "pursue your full potential" is actually evil disguised as an angel of light Yeah you can still find some of this in the horror genre but this is also literally how I see every infidelity plot and many other types of plots

It never ceases to feel odd to me when people freak out when a woman refuses to excuse a misogynistic and violent man and be the “bigger person”. I'm reading up about "gender affirming care" in this country and after every mention of a sex organ/characteristic like breasts, uterus, testicles, etc. there's an obligatory parenthesis saying "we use this word for clarity, even though we understand that you might prefer other words for it!" and I don't understand how that right there doesn't clear this up for everyone: if you possess too much self hatred to hear your body parts referred to as their neutral medical names you are in no state of mind to undergo surgery to remove them. You need therapy first and foremost.

It is not a coincidence that asexuality is becoming more popular as mainstream depiction of human sexuality is becoming more violent. Perfectly normal, healthy young people, are looking at this filthy and feeling understandable disgusted by it. But because sex is depicted by porn and online discourse as violent and "kinky", the disgust for this type of sex becomes disgust of sex in general.

people make fun of the "oh you only hate her because she's a WOMAN" crazy feminist mentality but yeah actually you guys do only hate her because she's a woman a lot of times. for every hated female tv character there's ten male tv characters who are a million times worse and still given at least the "intriguing morally grey character" treatment if not straight up praise. for every hated female celebrity in real life there's one hundred famous men who have done worse and don't get half the hate she does.

I think we've all seen news of former porn stars who tried to pursue another career, but were fired from their jobs because men recognized them. Now, imagine this in the era of OnlyFans. Thousands of young women are faced with the harsh reality that they cannot make enough money to survive by selling nudes/pornographic videos online. What are the chances of them being able to hold down a regular job before one of their "clients" recognizes them? That is going to be a gigantic social crisis. And we will need to demand government measures to protect these women or they will kill themselves in droves.
