So while I haven't been good at updates, I have been documenting my progress. Which, let's be honest, isn't much.
Since January I've lost 19.9 lbs and 8.45". But I also stopped running at the end of January due to an ankle injury which I then re-injured in early April. God I'm such a klutz.

Got a 20 minute yoga practice in today. Back is starting to loosen. Legs are tight.

Day 3: Half Mile. Did walk/jog. 2mph to 4pmh.
Did 15 minutes of yoga / stretching today. OMG every muscle in my body is tight. Back, legs, shoulders, hips...everything. I have no flexibility left. 😞
Breakfast: 2 eggs with cheese and ham, coffee

Lunch: 2 eggs poached with A1 sauce, 1 avacado with salt

Day 2: Half Mile. Slow because...toddler. when I was actually able to jog it, it was at a 4mph at a 16 min mi pace.
No yoga today. However, I did see the coolest thing on the internet today. It's called a "feet up". It's an tool for practicing inverted yoga poses. Granted, I'm a ways off from practicing inverted poses, but it looked so cool. Check out out at https://feetup.com

Morning snack: coffee & 2 toaster strudels (they were taunting me)

Dinner: chicken marsala with riced cauliflower, water

Took my new to me treadmill for a spin. Had to break my half mile into 2 runs because my toddler was convinced it was a toy for her to play on. 🙄
It was just another reminder that i'm out of shape. Tight muscles everywhere! Not cool. Good news is, my ankle wasn't convinced it was being tortured. Win.
I think my goal is to do a half mile a day for the first week. Then up it next week. And for the love of all that is holy, stretch. 😖

So, I think the sleep tracking system is faulty because I know I didn't get even 5 hrs of sleep. I'd get one child settled and the other would wake up. So I was awake since 4am. I wanted a nap so badly but had to do laundry while the kids were down for their nap.
We were running low on all the foods... so cravings took over and animal crackers and peanut butter happened. I guess it could have been worse.
Drug everyone out to costco to restock the fridge and freezers & all the paper goods. We go through a lot of veggies in this house.
Breakfast: 6oz steak
Morning snack: coffee
Lunch:
Afternoon snack: animal crackers & peanut butter
Dinner: 3 ribs, 2 oz pulled pork, 1/4c baked beans

My sweet boy had me awake every two hours last night. My darling daughter is sleeping pretty much all night finally.
Had a meeting today at Spangles. Struggled with what to order that would keep me on plan. Would have been happy with a burger no bun and a side salad but they don't have cesar dressing. And there were no other side options that were low carb. Fried everything. I'll need to search out individual ceasar dressing packets to carry with me I think. Or just get a travel container.
Feeling blessed that both kids are asleep before 11p. Win!
