Israel has bombed—and completely demolished—the Great Omari Mosque in Gaza, which is the second oldest mosque in Palestine. There was no purpose to bombing it. There was no advantage to targeting it. Israel simply destroyed it to make a statement: that Palestinian religion and culture not only mean nothing to them, but are something they’re actively working on wiping out. This was one of Palestine’s most sacred cultural sites. Now it’ll forever serve as proof of the horrifying death and destruction the world has allowed to befall Palestine.

My mom and I are being taken to court and evicted. Please reblog.

My mom's husband's sons transferred ownership of his house to themselves and are now taking us to court to evict us while also demanding $365 from each of us.

Needless to say we can't afford an attorney or pay $730 while also trying to move in to a new place and renting storage for our stuff.

Even if we weren't being evicted it's not a safe place to be after a domestic dispute on my mom's birthday this past weekend so we have to get out of here ASAP.

I've reached out to a free legal aid organization and just completed the interview process and I'm waiting to hear back for final approval but it's not guaranteed. I'm also in the middle of trying to renew my DACA (work permit) which costs $495. I'm waiting to hear back from an organization that gives zero interest loans but I'm still going to have to pay for it regardless.

That's pretty much it. We really need all the help we can get. Please donate if you can but mostly please share this with your followers.

Should the judge rule against us it'd be real nice if we could immediately pay off the $730 and if they rule in our favor donations would go to either paying off my work permit or for rent on wherever we go. Thank you in advance!
