My name is HAMDI AHMED SHIMBIR, and I'm a disabled queer Palestine, at the beginning of the genocide my family had planned to evacuate from Gaza to Egypt, unfortunately, my dad who was the breadwinner was killed and we resorted to staying in the camps in Rafah. Late last month my mother died due to an airstrike that blasted all the windows out of the house they were in when Israel attacked Deir Al-Balah last week. I had no alternative but to stay with a friend who came to my rescue when I had lost hope. I am planning to evacuate Gaza and travel to Egypt where some members of my family evacuated because the friend I was staying with also lost a job and it has become a burden to take care of me due to my disability and sickling of type one diabetic and I also need to purchase insulin which has been so costly lately. I don’t have any source of income and I have resorted to seeking refuge from well-wishers who can at least donate any little amount to enable me to evacuate Gaza. If you can spare even the smallest amount to help me, it would mean the world to me!!
