More realistic vs alpha overlays x estrogen blushes. One thought that initially discouraged me from removing the realistic skins was that my sims would look completely different. Glad to see the majority still look the same.

Thinking about breaking up with hyper realistic skins and sticking to alpha overlays. I paid for some of these skins so I am not okay. 🥲😭.

I want my sims to “gradually age” using wrinkles, skin tags, etc.. most winkles overlays and facemasks don’t show up on Alpha skins and overall there’s just a lack of old people skins all together. Most hyper realistic skin are catered to young adults with abs and shit 😆. Stretch marks, cellulite, wrinkles, bigger bellies, none of those overlays work on those skins. Some creators like Thisisthem for example, are bridging that gap but it isn’t that many.

Not that I’ve said all of that. This weekend I’ll probably put them in a separate folder and give all my sims makeovers with overlays. This sucks but hey, at least my game will run better. A win is a win 😆

Looks like Paralives for the win! I didn't anticipate Sims 5 being so low, hearing all the "Sims 4 sucks. I can't wait for Sims 5" rhetoric. I guess we're all fed up Lol!

I’ve been a lifelong sims player since sims 1 but I’m SOOOO excited for Paralives. I’ve been a Patreon of them for some time and love how the game has advanced over the years especially with such a small development team. That doesn’t mean I will ditch sims 4. I enjoy playing the sims 4 but honestly, that’s because of the amazing mods and cc that was created for it. The Sims 4 as we all know, isn’t on the same level as its past predecessors and it’s sad to see the direction EA has taken the franchise. I have no interest in playing sims 5 as a result.

Life by You seems promising. I LOVE how customizable the game is, but still don’t love it due to how much it’s still lacking. And not a fan of the character design but love the way the world looks. But it’s still very early in development as well. What are your thoughts? 💭
