I feel like there’s a lot of expectation online that if you’re in a psych ward you should be doing all this pretty stuff like journaling and dying your hair and reading new books and going for walks with nurses.

I think people need to be told that it’s ok if, like me, you’re on a ward and haven’t washed or moved and are wearing the same leggings you were admitted in. It’s ok if you’re struggling and it’s gross and you’re not able to make any pretty pictures out of it.
