"i'm so glad you asked! i have a few case scenarios that i came up with on the off chance that this ever happened! first! obviously, i have the door booby trapped trapped just in case, but it's not something too deadly because what if it's not a criminal and just granny with the groceries, right? so it's just a little rubber duck that falls down by some string that's supposed to weird him out. phase two usually involves me waiting his arrival in the shadows, the mcduck mansion is really big so it casts shadows everywhere so i use this to my advantage and attack! by either throwing paintballs his way or just going right in with a flying roundhouse kick, and once he's on the ground with either thing i quickly tie him up and ask him who he's working for while i call the police, but only to throw him off the sent because i'm not letting him go that easily." she snorts at the thought, shaking her head a little. "...what happens after that i still need to work out but i think it's a pretty solid plan so far."

it was no secret that after staying hauled up at the mansion for so long webby loved meeting and getting to know new people, and winnie had quickly become someone she looked up to, so regardless of what the other was going to tell or ask her, the younger girl was just going to agree without a second thought, eyes wide and in awe for approval, but this specific topic was one of her favorites (animals!) "oh my gosh, you totally should! and fostering is like a super important job, too! the little babies need someone willing to help them when they can't stay at the shelters overnight and i think you'd be perfect for that, i mean you already volunteer and stuff so obviously, why wouldn't they let you, right?"...eh, who needed to breathe, anyway? "so are you thinkin' like a great dane or a little baby chihuaha?" she gasps at another thought. "can i come with you to pick it out?!"

reuben blinks, trying to keep themselves from deflating instantly at the comment, tilting their head to the side with an eyebrow raise. shaggy was a good test dummy to go to, the man was a pit when it came to food and didn't need to take much convincing into trying anything which was great, but it was a little difficult to work with when he liked...everything given and had to be coaxed into feedback. Shaggy didn't have to be told what was in the sandwich, even if the ingredient list was spelled out for him and absolutely disgusting, he'd still give it a chance.
