Sunday vibezzz! Remember my "Trends you can't thrift for" post? I'm afraid I may have been mistaken as I found this adidas sweater at my local goodwill. I was a bit shocked to find it to be honest! It was in great condition with no stains, why give away!!!? Anywho, I also found these brand new Brooks with the tags still on them! Decided to pair this little ensemble with a red adidas logo hat. Yes, it's the adidas logo, just doubled! And since it's spring, I'm declaring white pants officially acceptable! So I don't wanna hear it from all you white-pant-in-winter-haters! You could pretty much wear this outfit anywhere! Day drinking with friends (lol), running errands, family brunch, you name it! Hat- The Cool-$25 Pants- (customized by me) $9.99 forever 21 Shoes- Goodwill $14.99 Sweater- Goodwill $9.99

They’re baaaaackkk!!!
So I’ve moved a couple of times in the past year and I kept my babies (Nike Air Commanders) under lock in their box the entire time. The other day I started to reminisce about my old shoe collection and decided to bring these back into the light! Look at em’! Flossy eh’? Anywho! The real star in todays post would be this black jumper from FashionNova. I’m a little obsessed with their site as they pretty much have everything! The 90′s syle choker was also purchased from FashionNova. I’m a little sad with this post because everything here was pretty much purchased at full price. But, sometimes you have to do it! Like I said in a previous post, some things you just can’t thrift for!
Hat- The Cool $25
Choker- FashionNova $2.99
Jacket- Forever21 $25
Jumper- FashionNova $19.99
Shoes- Poshmark $85?

Outfit forecast!!!!
I’ve been saving that shirt for ya’ll for months now! I found this “silk” shirt hanging in the lingerie section and thought the pattern was just beautiful! Per usual, the shoes and shirt were both scouted from Goodwill. I just love the booties because of how simple they are and so easy to pair with. As for the non thrifted items, I did purchase both the one piece and pants at full price. Please, don’t yell at me when I tell you about the pants. They were.... a wopping $34.99. Which is a slurge! BUT I NEEDED THEM!!!!! I really really needed them, okay? I’d been eyeballing a pair of pants like these for months so I gave into myself and bought me a pair of these babies. I’m happy with this purchase only because I know I’ll be able to mix & match with so many other tops, ect. I actually ordered them online which scares the crap out of me. I wanted to see what the hype was all about with FashionNova and I LOVE THEM! As for the body suit, I found this at my local Forever 21. Which surprised me because I didn’t think they would have wearable (out in public) lingerie. Anywho! I plan to wear this to my dear friends’ DJ set this saturday!
Wish him luck!
Ps.
FashionNova has the best shipping & customer service!
Pants- FashionNova $34.99
Shirt- Goodwill $5.99
Booties- Goodwill $9.99
Bodysuit- Forever21 $12.99

Super simple art gallery ensemble! I wore this sexy little (actually super huge) sweater “dress” with my go to, all time favorite, leather boots! Let’s start with them leather boots! Babies, I fought this lady for them! It was a super busy Saturday at my all time favorite goodwill. I swooped them as soon as I laid my eyes on them. This lady came right up behind and begged me to try them on. Nah, they mine! I wear these just about every weekend, they go with everything! And for $19.99, what a steal! So the sweater “dress” is actually a men’s xl sweater that was just perfectly long enough to become a dress! Always think outside the box! The men’s sections will be your holy grail if you know how to use it! Lastly, I paired this outfit with a simple black choker & nude lips!
P.s
Always run to the shoe section first!
Sweater- Goodwill $6.99 Boots- Goodwill $19.99

This outfit was so much fun!!! I rocked the shit out of these shoes and lipstick, ok! I'm starting off with the boots because look at them! I practically ran to these boots when I saw them at Goodwill. I was so unsure about them at first but I tried them on and they were perfect! Pretty sure I Snapchated about three friends and asked if I should buy these ridiculous ass boots or not. Honestly, they're about the most obnoxious pair of shoes I've ever bought but I love them. And for $9.99 why not stand out? Okay, so I paired this outfit with a pair of high waisted skinny jeans, blue crop top and the jacket from my previous post. Bam! 💥 and some limecrime lipstick of course! Jacket- (see previous post) Shoes- $9.99 (Goodwill) Jeans- $9.99 (Forever 21) Top- $9.99 (Forever 21) Limecrime- (Black Friday Sale)

Hi Lovelys! I'm back!!! And my style has changed too! So here's a starter outfit to give you a lil taste of what Cece's been up to! Although I've changed my style, my shopping habits haven't! So let's get started! Okay, I about died when I saw these plaid pants. They totally reminded me of the jeans I would wear back in my freshman year of high school. Which was definitely my rocker/emo faze. And the shoes! I didn't even think twice when I saw them in the shoe section at Goodwill! And for only $6.99?? What a score! So like, that top over there, is actually a bathing suite that I like to sport here and there. The back- it's backless! Oh, and the jacket, can't forget about the jacket! I totally copped this for full price (oops) but hey! Like I've said before, some trends you just can't thrift for. But it goes with almost all my outfits so I was pretty happy with the $25 I spent on it. I wore this outfit to a friends Saturday show and it definitely was a show stopper. Gotta love the plaid pop ❤️ Plaid pants- $9.99 (Goodwill) Shoes- $6.99 (Goodwill) Jacket- $25 (Forever 21) Swim suit- $25 (American Apparel)

Trends you can't thrift for: 😩🚫👚👠👜
Have you ever gotten tired of wearing the same thing as everyone else? Tried looking for a new style and then thought to yourself, “I’m gonna bring that back!”? I do this all the time and sometimes I see that I can’t find certain things at a thrift store because well, either: A) The clothing trend is so new that no one has abandoned it yet B) The clothing trend is so old that no one has been wearing the “new” style you’re seeking for in probably over a decade. C) It’s culturally relevant D) You may already be late to the “new” trend and the items are “too hot” so they don’t stay on the racks very long.
Here are some examples of things I cannot find when I’m thrifting at major donation sites such as a goodwill, value village, and St. Vincent’s:
-Overalls -Vintage sports jerseys -Dad hats (ones from high-end street boutiques like BAIT, Stussy, and Estate) -Anything with current slang -Leather jackets (very rare to find a real leather jacket) -Jordan’s
-Anything adidas/Nike (sometimes but it's rare!) -Any Japanese or European version (Nike & Adidas)
I’ve had to be a sucker and pay full price or close to retail value for a lot of the items I cannot find when I’m thrifting. The overalls example is perfect in this scenario because who TF has worn overalls in the past 10 years? NO ONE! In this case, if I want to be a trend starter just like every fashion blogger, then I’ll have to bite the bullet and pay full price so all of y'all can start thrifting and finding them too.
Some items you just have to pay full price for or find on a second market. This isn’t always a bad thing. What I find happening oh so often is that the items I thrift for have to either be cleaned up or altered. When I’m buying items like Jordan’s, I will almost always buy them new or on a second market app like Poshmark or Mercari. I prefer my Jordans to be brand new and here is why. Jordans are known throughout majority of the world*. You can go to Japan, India, and majority of Europe and someone will recognize your Jordan’s and or know of the brand. Jordan’s are an expensive designer brand that it’s wear-ers respect the shoe so much to where some aren’t even ever worn and they’re highly collectible. Jordan’s are the only brand that I will be a complete snob about. I always keep them clean because someone (even if it’s one person) will point them out. (Maybe I’m just a shoe snob in general? Shoes are the first thing I notice about people 😵👟) Plus who doesn’t like nice & clean shoes?

Everyone, meet Joe! My not so little but still my little brother. Today’s post is mainly focused on him and yes, his outfit too! My little brother means absoultely the world to me! This past weekend was his Senior Prom which happens to be exactly 4 years after mine. (The pictures below are of 17 year old me on my Senior Prom. Yikes, thank god for progression and Anastasia Dip Brow!) Anyways, when I walked outside to see my brother off for his Prom, I almost broke down into tears. He looked so grown up that day that it finally hit me. My baby brother is a young man now!
The suit my brother wore that day has a special story behind it that I’d like to share with you all. The retro navy blue 1960′s hand tailored suit (damn that’s a mouth full) that he’s wearing actually belonged to our long-time family and neighbor who passed away about 2.5 years ago. The man who had that suit custom made 50 years ago was someone who meant the absolute world to us. He was the reason why I went to college and gave me the courage to follow my dreams and to make sure I do everything in my power to help other achieve their dreams. So seeing Joe in this suit on such a magical night for young people, I couldn’t help but get choked up.
Cece, isn’t this a fashion blog? Yes, yes it is! Lets get back to it!
Okay, so my outfit was less than cool here as I was just about to go babysit. So this outfit was a little bit of a splurge too as I got them all for full price. I know.. it pained me too to do that. But this outfit was super chill and comfy. Didn’t have to worry about my Jordans getting baby spit-up on them! lol. These leggings are super sporty and fashionable since the calf part has a bit of mesh fabric to break up the pattern, LOVE IT! And then my Sperry knock-offs (shhhhh) helped offset it from looking too sporty to cute and casual. Gotta find a balance!
Leggings- $19.99 @ target
Shoes- $24.99 @ Marshalls
Sweater- Christmas gift

Yes, I’m still alive!
Guys & Gals, I am so sorry to have left ya’ll hangin’ this long. I’ve been super duper busy and no, my excuses are not that lame.. The past month and a half I’ve been trying to build a brand,been customizing my thrift finds AND traveling the world!
Here’s what I’ve been up to:
At the end of March I went to Las Vegas for a long weekend with an old friend and her family. This trip was a blast! I even got to be on stage with a famous DJ! (Check my Instagram to find out who!) Then the first week of April I got to go to Cancun, Mexico with my family! That trip was absolutely amazing! No, I didn’t get to party on any stages this trip but I did get to go visit a few Mayan Ruins and even went swimming in a 150 ft deep natural well! (Also on my insta) ANDDDDDDD….. Yes, there’s more traveling… A day after I came home from Mexico, my best friend and I drove down to Eugene, Oregon to see my all time favorite rapper, G Eazy. That weekend trip was such blast! After that I’ve been crazy busy in the shop with my business partner trying to take all my cool Goodwill finds and turn them into amazing must have pieces! (Some have been posted on my Instagram as well. Individual detailed posts will be made here shortly)
So, as you all can see- It’s not that I forgot about ya’ll, I was just having too much fun site seeing (;
BUT! Now I’m back for good and can’t wait to get back on the grind and get some fun post’s out for all of you to read!
Can’t get enough? Visit my Instagram for more as I post daily!

Remember this jersey from my Seattle thrifting the other week? With the big help of a friend, we made it into a body suit! I first got the inspiration from Beyonce who wore a custom Chicago Bulls body suit in one of her music videos. I had always wanted to purchase that body suit but I was never really a Chicago Bulls fan and wanted something a bit more original.  I specifically made this outfit for a Boudoir shoot that will be posted solely on my instagram. You’ll definitely see me in this outfit again come summertime.
Funny story about this body suit- My business partner and I had been talking about getting this jersey turned into a body suit for a really long time. On Monday, a local photographer liked and commented on some of my photos and asked if we could shoot together. The second I got off work I went to the fabric store and hunted for some trim to give it more flare. Needless to say, I worked on this bitch for a couple hours and then the next day I brought it to my business partner to show him what I did. TWO DAYS LATER: Started working on it at 10pm to rework the trim and work out all the awkward spots to make it more fitted. DIDN’T FINISH TILL 3:30am AFTER we went to Subway and grubbed... argggg... BUT IT LOOKS FABULOUS!
P.S
HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!

This beautiful little outfit is being staged for a Boudoir shoot as well! You’re probably wondering why I have some boxing gloves paired next to it. If you didn’t already know, I work at a Martial Arts gym and sometimes when I’m not busy being the boss, I like to spar with the students and get to understand the sports a little bit better. Anyways, I’m absolutely in love this Cuba crew-neck from Adidas! We got so excited when I pulled this off the rack in a Goodwill in Seattle. On a side note- I’ve decided to pull a few of my favorite pieces out of my closet and make a dedicated post to just that singe item and focus solely on it. The Cuba crew-neck will be my first post(;
Check back soon!

These two outfits have been in my back pocket for a little while. I brought these two together for a Boudoir shoot that I’m supposed to be doing here shortly. This maroon “Seattle” shirt is what I’m MOST excited about! Remember last weeks post? Well, my friend and I both ended up finding matching jerseys except his says the number 23! The fire really showed up with them booty shorts and thigh high black socks. Done believe me? Visit my insta: “hi.im.cece”. Anyways, nothing brings me more satisfaction than thrifting for a piece that makes you the talk of the town (;
P.S
Keep checking back, i have a few things up my sleeve that I think ya’ll will love!

Alright guys! This is an unedited-super rough photo of the clothes I rummaged for today in Seattle. This was one of my most exciting and best finds trip so far! The pressure was on today as I finally brought a friend with me. Needless to say, he was blown away with what we found. A few items I decided to withhold from this photo are currently being rehabbed into wearable condition. I have to say this was my best trip yet as I copped some amazing pieces to ride out around in Cap Hill.

I had so much fun with this outfit- thrifting for & wearing! This vintage jacket was the star of this outfit! Whoah, don't yell at me because I'm placing my Metallic J 5's on runner up. K? I found this beautiful 1970's Varsity Baseball jacket in the good ol' men's section (that has never seemed to fail me yet ☝🏻️) at my neighborhood Goodwill. Immediately, my face lit up when I found this hanging there 🙏🏻. The colors look like the old school Seattle Mariners colors and it's over sized enough to only wear a crop top underneath. Speaking of: I decided to have the jacket as my main focal point and accent it with black & white materials. The Jordan's gave it a more sporty flair. Turquoise Varsity Baseball jacket- $7.99 @ Goodwill Black Leggings- $9.99 @ forever 21 White crop top- $3.99 @ H&M Metallic Jordan 5 Retros- $95 @ Poshmark App

This outfit started the year off right for fight night a couple weeks ago. These 2012 jordans matched my leggings perfectly. It's so hard for me to find clothes that match my shoes! This knitted crop top kept it all together, tying the shoes together with the pants.
2012 Jordans- $75 @ PoshMark App
Leggings- $25 @ Marshalls
Black Knitted Crop Top- $9 @ PoshMark App
