So I have this old rosary that I want to restore. I don’t know if I want to be simple and use plastic beads (because I am pretty sure that the ones originally there are NOT real pearls) or if I want to go the extra mile and harvest rose petals from my rose bush and make rose clay beads.

I don’t know, what do you feel? Rosaries were traditionally made with rose clay and they hold their scent for decades, but the work to make them is messy and could set off a fire alarm.

Then again, isn’t the point of a long and arduous process in the name of faith meant to test you? To bring you closer to God?
