REFLECTIONS FOR THE MEDUSA PROJECT
The Medusa Project is created in order to raise awareness for those affected by sexual abuse as well as eliminating the stigma of demonization. To achieve this locally, a group of students and I painted a mirror in the image of Medusa in order show the empathy that can be felt for these victims. This project holds global importance since it is able to be done all over the world, not just locally. We hope this project may be passed on to future CAS participants in order to carry on the message and movement.

APRIL 11th 2018- On this day, our theatre troupe went to the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville to see a live production of Mama Mia! Not only is this my favorite show, I was also inspired by seeing the show and talking to the cast. At the end of the show, we had the opportunity to talk to the cast and ask questions, many of the cast members gave feedback on questions I had about pursuing theatre as a career and other ways in which I could use creativity in a career. This experience helped me in personal growth by encouraging myself to stay within a creative career field.

FEBRUARY ACTIVITY
Feb 8th-10th 2018: on this trip, I went with the Thespian Society to Columbus, Georgia. This is an annual trip for the Thespian Society and was my second time attending. This trip counts towards the creativity portion of CAS because of the ability we had to view several theatrical productions pout on by schools from all over the state, as well as a production of our own show.

OCTOBER 2017
October 7th- on this day I went with Beta Club and HOSA to Piedmont Park in Atlanta to volunteer and raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The event was called Light the Night. We walked around Midtown with our lanterns, met people from other clubs, played games, and bonded with members of our clubs.

SEPTEMBER REFLECTIONS 2017
Sep 20th- this day the IB DP seniors took a field trip to an escape room in Atlanta. This was fun experience because I enjoyed seeing how I could work as a team with members I did not expect to work with. Though I am friends with all the DP seniors, we are all not often put into group situations with those individuals. I was impressed by this experience because I saw leadership skills in all of us that I did not expect and I was also impressed that we all worked very well together.

AUGUST REFLECTIONS 2017
August 26th- This day was the battle of oakwood football game and was the first time the NAHS seniors painted up the student sections. This was a good experience because it helped me realize how the club was going to work as a team to make it a memorable club year.

JULY REFLECTIONS 2017
July 1st-9th- during these days I went to visit my aunt in Michigan.Though this trip was mainly to visit family and have fun, I also visited Wayne State University. I did not have knowledge of this tour until that day but my aunt had set it up. I did not know about this school but I was interested in seeing if I would like a state school. I enjoyed the school tour but it did not offer the major I wanted at the time.
Week of July 20th- This week I went rafting and kayaking in North Carolina. I enjoyed this experience because I was able to spend time with friends but also see how we functioned as a team.

JUNE REFLECTIONS 2017
June 1st-8th- I went to visit family friends in Florida, on my visit I toured Flagler University. Though I am not planning on attending Flagler, I was interested in seeing if out of state schools could catch my attention, and to see what other options I had. I admired that the school was rich with history and that they were liberal arts. However I realized I could not go so far out of state and home for my first year of college.
June 16th- On this day, Haylee Nunn and I dedicated our day to spending time with our friend who was moving to Florida. We went to get food, played games, listened to music, watched TV, and took Polaroid pictures for all of us to take. This day was somber but important. It helped me realize that at some point we all must part ways and move on, but what matters is the memories we are able to make together.

MAY REFLECTIONS 2017
May 26th- attended graduation. This was an important experience for me because it was the first time I had been so close with the seniors at my school. It was difficult to say goodbye to all the friends I had made but it inspired me to work harder and made me excited for my own graduation day.
