I killed myself too.Ā
I jumped off the roof
Ā killed myself. How did you die?

It's better than walking around like a sweaty pig.
I'm Caroline, by the way.
Thatāsā¦ I guess I can deal, if thatās what needs to be done.Ā

Tank top and shorts, my friend. The less clothing, the better.Ā
I don't mean to make it sound so slutty, but the less and the lighter your clothes are, the easier it makes it. At least it's like that for me.Ā
How do you people stand it?

I have never heard someone explain California's weather so perfectly.

Caroline grabbed Gabriel's hand and shook it, finding it odd that people still do that when they meet. "This is weird. I haven't shaked someone's hand in so long. Most people I meet nowadays aren't so forward." She pulled her hand back and placed it on her lap as she crossed her legs.Ā
"Maybe that's it. I just feel like I've met you before, but that might just be me losing my mind." She laughed, not entirely sure if she was kidding or not. Sometimes this house made Caroline feel like she wasn't always fully there.
She took a deep breath, wanting to know if Gabriel was alive or not, but didn't exactly want to ask. "Do you mind if I call you Gabe? It's a hell of a lot less work than 'Gabriel'."
Caroline & Gabriel
Gabriel smiled a little, looking over at the smaller frame sat next to him. āI know. I just really like how things look from up here.ā he explained to her. She looked deep in thought for a second, but then she broke the silence once again and Gabe was listening to her. āIām Gabriel, nice to meet you.ā he said, politely stretching one hand out for her to shake.
"Oh no, I donāt think so." he said, shaking his head at his own words. "You might have met my brother Michael, though. Heāsā¦ more outgoing." he said. "Plus, I donāt think youād be able to tell us apart. Weāre twins, we look exactly the same. Just as if we were the same person." he finished with a chuckle, laughing at the irony of that statement.

Sorry, but I don't consider that to be such a "bright side".
How did you die?Ā
Hey, look on the bright side. We have forever to go still.

Caroline puled herself up when the mystery man sat next to her. "Yeah, it really is." She examined the boy and raised an eyebrow at him.Ā He looks kind of familiar, she thought to herself. "I'm Caroline, by the way." She smiled at the boy and took a deep breath of fresh air. "Have we met before?"Ā
Caroline & Gabriel
Gabriel had been having much more time to himself now that Rosalie was dead. It felt weird to say that. But Michael had been more quiet than usual, the boy had been trying to avoid reality, and it almost felt weird to be able to have his body without any sort of a fight. But he was happy it was happening, nevertheless.
The roof was one of his favorite places, he was able to escape, something he found himself wanting do pretty often, especially whenever he wasnāt around Max, since those times were the only times he actually felt good. Once he was up there, he saw someone sat there, the colored hair easy to recognize. āHey.ā he murmured sitting next to her. āItās a nice place, isnāt it?āĀ

Caroline & [open]
Caroline sat cross legged on the roof as squirrels scattered through the nearby trees. She took a few pinecones and chucked them towards the tree, missing every time except for the last. She laid back and extended her legs as she closed her eyes. It had been so quiet lately, she felt as if she were going to lose her mind if she hadn't already.Ā
Letting out a quiet sigh, she opened her eyes in the bright sun. "Uhhh, hi." She spoke a as she saw a dark figure hover over her. The sun was so bright that Caroline had no idea if a guy or a girl had joined her on the roof.

Yeah, well.. To each their own, I suppose.
I'm Caroline, by the way.Ā
I like the quiet myself. Itās better than a bunch of ghosts running around arguing with each other.

Well normally it's not so quietĀ
Things are a lot more entertaining when people are yelling and screaming at each other.
Did you expect anything different than boring?

Ahah, it's fine. I've gotten quite used to people sneaking up on me around here.
Yeah, but it can get ridiculously hot here, don't ya think?
Wow, sorry. Totally didnāt mean to.
Yeah, itās pretty creepy like that. Especially in the more darker parts of the house. But itās nice outside, at least.Ā

Caroline laughed quietly as Sophie described the dumb kids. "Wow, I'll have to remember to keep my out for them because that sounds like a lot of fucking fun."
"2020? Oh that's nothing, darlin'!Ā I've been here since 2004. I survived the turn of theĀ millennium,"Ā she chuckled softly, feeling kind of old. "I'm really not that old, though," she continued, more directing the comment towards herself than towards Sophie. "I know Nora Montgomery has been here since the beginning of time. Well, not really. But she's been here since 1920 or something. I don't feel so ancient when I remember there's ghosts that died before booty shorts were a thing."
Welcome to the new age || Caroline & Sophie

I don't think there's a moment where this house isn'tĀ fucking creepy.
The peace is nice, usually. Although, itās been too quiet lately, which is kinda creepy.Ā
