Yes, I'm replaying M's route. Yes, they're my second favorite Romance (after N, my beloved... then probably a tie for 3rd with A and F with the love triangle coming in last because seeing how much A is actively in pain breaks my heart).

Thinking about how the detectives Agency Assigned Nanny knew them better than Rebecca as they grew up. Canonically she was away A LOT basically since she could pull herself together enough to get back to work after Rooks passing, which means all the playground outings, classmates birthday parties, etc. was pretty much handled by this nanny (or nannies?)...

This stranger basically raised them, at least more than Rebecca could as a very busy woman; they bandaged the detectives scrapes, probably took them grocery shopping (especially before they were old enough for school)... Did they attend the detectives little school plays when she was away? Were they there for their school graduations? Did they keep tabs on their charge through college?
