In Silver Flames Cassian thinks Nesta was "a wolf who had never learned how to be a wolf, thanks to that cage humans called propriety and society. And like any maltreated animal, she bit anyone who came near", and I loved seeing Nesta finally getting out of that cage and becoming her true self in this book.

Did they seriously take one or two mean comments from a traumatised child (pretty much) so personally that they hate on her from the moment they meet, behind her back and to her face, over it?

Yet, when Feyre finds out her so called friends hid vital medical information from her, she's laughing with Cassian ten minutes later over punishing Nesta for, what I see as, a cry for help from one sister to another.

went to read the sati kand in shiv puran because I was curious to know what kinda married life they lived and some of the verses are so freaking cute!

like sati has finally summoned shiva after finishing her nanda vrat and my man is more excited than sati to hear her confession. he asks her what she wants and sati is freaking out on the inside because she doesn't know how to ask him to marry her and before she finishes her sentence he's like 'marry me'

sir, you were supposed to wait for her to finish asking for her wish

and then he immediately goes to brahma to tell him to go to daksha and formally ask for her hand in marriage and make sure the marriage happens as soon as possible

absolutely smitten. falling over himself to finally get together with his beloved after millions of years long wait

the book even goes as far as saying he was so madly in love with her he absolutely didn't want to do anything without her by his side

no wonder her death absolutely devastated him.
