What you need to know about British Columbia Canada curriculum
Today we live in a world of constant change, a technology-rich world, where communication is instant and information is immediately accessible. The way we interact with each other personally, socially, and at work has changed forever! Our curriculum incorporates knowledge that is growing at exponential rates in many domains, creating new information and possibilities.
To ensure the development of an educated society, we are responsible for providing all of our students with the opportunity to obtain high-quality education, hence we have incorporated British Columbia Canada Curriculum.
It helps children to learn and to think critically, communicate information from a broad knowledge base, be creative, flexible, and self-motivated and have a positive self-image. And also make themselves capable of making independent decisions.
This curriculum makes children skilled and able to contribute to society generally, be productive, gain satisfaction through achievement, and strive for physical well-being.
All areas of learning in our Curriculum are based on a “Know-Do-Understand” model to support a concept-based competency-driven approach to learning.
Three elements, the Content -Know, Curricular Competencies - Do, and Big Ideas i.e Understand all work together to support deeper learning. The Curricular Competencies are the skills, strategies, and processes that students develop over time. They reflect the “Do” in the Know-Do-Understand model of learning. While Curricular Competencies are more subject-specific, they are connected to the Core Competencies. At the Canadian School of Bahrain, we believe in Competency-driven learning.
In business and industry, where they generally refer to the skills needed to perform a given job. In the context of education, the terms refer to the ability of students to perform a task as expected within a specific discipline or area of learning. Your children are bound to learn these combinations of skills, processes, behaviors, and habits of mind. Our students are competent in an area of learning to the extent that they understand and can apply knowledge to new contexts. For more details visit us at https://www.canadianschoolbh.com/.

Are you looking for the best school in Bahrain?
If you're looking into starting a replacement life for your family though you're unsure on where to start, then this is often the article for you. One among the main factors when choosing a replacement country to call house is education. It's all well and good picking a rustic for its climate, cuisine and culture; though if the education system isn't strong enough to assist and support you in developing your children intellectually then it is a no go. It seems that oldsters are divided about whether boarding schools in England are the simplest option for youngsters. Opinions run quite high on each side but people who are in favor of those schools think that the advantages far outweigh the drawbacks.
The British Columbia Canada curriculum (BC Curriculum) is an internationally renowned education program of the very best standard. The BC Curriculum teaches students through fostering a lifelong love of learning. This outstanding program offers a balanced, concept and inquiry-based approach that's student-centered and focuses on the entire child.
Located in Diyar Al Muharraq, The Canadian School Bahrain is concentrated on providing high academic standards through teaching British Columbia, Canada curriculum (BC Curriculum) blended with Arabic studies, Islamic studies and Bahrain social and citizenship classes.
