The original! The beginning! The fic that dragged me into this fandom like a mother cat holding her kitten by the scruff kjshdf Hornet’s characterization in this is some of my favorite (and a constant inspiration!) and her growth throughout has been so enjoyable to watch. If you like postgame fics and Hornet and the characterization of npcs that most people don’t pay as much attention to then please read this fic please you won’t regret it im begging y-

do you love quirrel?? who doesn’t. too bad he doesn’t love himself as much as he should, and thats why in this fic he gets checked into therapy! wait, that doesn’t happen? Actually he gets rescued by lemm and so far it’s looking like it’s on the up and up for our boy! (or at least I really hope so) but this fic is just, superb! it’s wonderful! The characterization is great, there’s a lot of in-character humor to balance out the sad and sweet-melancholic scene and in general i just, really *really* enjoy lemm’s interactions with quirrel

oh,,god,,, im crying,, i’m always crying so much,  this fic turns me into an emotional smoothie but also every time I read it i’m consumed by rich dialogue and an incredibly in depth look at pre-fall hallownest that I’m constantly surprised and enamored by,, This might be my favorite portrayal of the Great Knights too, Ogrim, Isma, Dryya, Hegemol,,,,they’ve all got such interesting and detailed and well-thought out actions and beliefs. (also have I mentioned i love this portrayal of Lurien? if you like this fic then please read A Watcher’s Duty too /vibrates into the next dimension/

so everyone knows I love lurien but also there’s a good reason for that it’s because sable has some incredibly beautiful writing that makes me want to cry my eyes out every time. The [REDACTED] and the way Lurien sees [REDACTED] (im so sorry i just dont wanna spoil this fic if you haven’t read it its gorgeous and lovingly crafted and i’ve reread it so many times i ts ,, /heart eyes/
