SOUND HEALING BENEFITS from Calmness Hotline on Vimeo.
3 benefits of sound healing:
1. It's super relaxing
Deep relaxation is one of the most important and universal benefits of sound therapy. With our busy schedules and so much going on in the world, we can all need some relaxing vibes.
2. Helps clear energy blockages
Some people experience profound healing during sound therapy as the sound vibrations open, clear and balance their chakras and release blocked energy. Schieffelin describes it as an "energetic deep tissue massage" that leaves you feeling balanced and rejuvenated.
Benefits may include improved sleep, reduced chronic pain and blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and reduced risk of heart disease.
3. Supports Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Well-Being
Sound therapy also heals mentally and emotionally. "Sound healing helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression," says Schieffelin. "It balances and clears the mind, and leads to a renewed sense of purpose, well-being, calm and happiness."

4 benefits of sound healing
1. It's super-relaxing
Deep relaxation is one of the most significant and universal benefits of sound therapy. "The sounds permeate our system returning it back to harmony," Sarhangi says. So if you take nothing else away from a sound healing session, relaxation on its own is worth it. With our busy schedules and so much going on in the world, we can all use some chill vibes.
2. It helps clears energetic blockages
Some people experience deep healing during sound therapy as the sound vibrations open, clear, and balance their chakras and release stuck energy. Schieffelin describes it as an "energetic deep tissue massage" that leaves you feeling balanced and replenished.
"When [a healing] happens, you may also feel physical sensations like tingling in your hands or feel or a sense of being hot or cold," Schieffelin says. "Breathe into the sensations without attaching to them or labeling them. Instead, focus on your breath as you allow them to pass."3. It boosts your health
That's right—it's not completely woo-woo. "Research has already demonstrated that sound healing can be incredibly beneficial when working with [a variety of] patients," Schieffelin says.
Benefits can include improved sleep, reduction of chronic pain and blood pressure, lowered cholesterol, and a decreased risk of heart disease. (Although, for professional help with these ailments, please see a certified medical practitioner.)
4. It supports mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being
It also heals on the mental and emotional levels. "Sound healing helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression," Schieffelin says. "It balances and clears the mind, and leads to a renewed sense of purpose, well-being, calm, and happiness."

CPFC (Canadian Pole Fitness Association) COMP piece 2020
"I wanted to be in Pole Art Category... but I was suggested to go into a new category called Director's Cut where more special effects / editing that would be allowed. However, after watching the other participants I felt it wasn't so much about editing or special effects, but more about being an artistic director like Almodovar and creating a deeper story.
I felt the category did not capture what I did.. My idea was mainstream (video game / VR); I would have needed a category of it's own like VIRTUAL REALITY CATEGORY! haha :P I had not planned on being part of the Director's Cut category so the editing was basic ish so it would not look like I was cheating by highlighting body parts or face zooms (for emotions to be highlighted)... and on top of that my other competitors did a lot of "cuts" in their edit, which placed me a little at a disadvantaged because I filmed my whole piece one shot. I am sure it would have been much cleaner and looked more effortless if I add cut it into more piece and filmed each combo separately...
But it was a great learning experience; I got to film in a green room for the first time! I got to work with an graphic motion editor, and grasp how competitions might be in the future... If it wasn't so expensive to rent green rooms and work with graphic motion editors... maybe we could have pole dancers in virtual world like the FKA Twigs Cellophane video clip or competitions that would look like Monterro's going down to hell scene!!! I am excited for the future!"

LET'S MAKE A VISUAL BOARD from Calmness Hotline on Vimeo.
Let's make a 2022 visual board ♡ to start this new year on the right foot! This video is great if you do it along... and do your image research along with me if not it might feel a tad long. SKIP 41:07 - 58:17; I accidentally stopped the screen sharing and so you just see me commenting on things you cannot see... which is kind of weird... so feel free to skip that part.
