After not working on this for a week or so, I decided to pack it up and switch to a different project.

I think it’s looking good so far. I still need to finish the glider that I’ve started in the bottom right, and add French knots to the flowers. After that is the lettering which includes measuring and counting to get it centred, which is the kinda thing I get all tripped up.

I removed the tacked red floss border because I’d made a square instead of a rectangle like the design. I’m pretty sure the design will still fit but I won’t be able to add text below it. Oh well, it’s not like anyone knows what I originally planned make, so no disappointment?

Starting on my next project, which is to commemorate the birth of my first nephew. I decided to go with something cute and non-gender specific. I think I’ll do French knots for the yellow parts of the flowers. Not entirely sure what I’ll use for the lettering, maybe a variegated green?
