Hey there

Well hi there! Welcome to my first proper text post. I have sat in my room today and contemplated a lot of things, most specifically how terrible the last 12 months have been really. At one point, it seemed like everything that I had was changing and I lost so many people that were important to me. Sure, some of them were toxic friendships so I’m better off without them, but that’s not so easy to see without some hindsight.I left my first serious relationship, which hurt like hell. I did my GCSEs, picked A-levels, thought about career paths. And now, in 1 day, I am starting a new chapter of my life. With some of the same friends, but a lot of different priorities and goals. Thinking about this made me want to start something, which is this. I’m not sure what ‘this’ is yet but I am sure I will discover it. 

I had put aside a lot of the things that are important to me, reading, singing, playing guitar; I did that all so that I could put other people first and make sure that they were okay. Well now that’s all changing and I am becoming a little bit more selfish (not too much don’t worry). I’m making sure that I am looking after myself before anybody else, because that will help me but ultimately it will mean that I can look after other people better and my relationships will be stronger.

Ke$ha is a perfect example of how the media loves to make intelligent girls seem dumb and bitchy even though they are actually smart and caring. Ke$ha isn’t far from being a feminist icon but the media continues to label her as a dumb drunk party girl.

and Ke$ha is all for loving yourself and equality but she continues to receive harassment from mainstream media. Enough harassment to the point that she developed an eating disorder because of it. She is an example of how horrible and sexist the music industry is.
