I realized something and don't remember if anyone ever brought this up before. I called Agent Ukulele's clothing 'punk for the scpverse' as a joke as it broke all norms of what should be worn while working in the GoC/Foundation and the styles of clothing he seems to like had a lot of punk vibes in it... also Uku gives almost no respect for authority around him.

But I was looking up stuff around the punk movement and it lines up with A Major's life... So the initial punk movement start around the 70~80 and had a very large presence in the UK. If Francis was 27 in 1989 and Ukulele as an alter was made around their teen's or early 20s, that would place A Major around that age of 13 in 1975 to 21 in 1983, which would be firmly in the rise of British Punk culture.

Francis already being an outcast and thinking that being a reality bender would make him have an early death would be very aware of this movement and see it daily from others his own age. Francis himself may or may not have ever been punk but from just being around all this means that Ukulele could very much just be an alter created with/from Punk ideals and aesthetic that Francis experienced, which was one of the hearts of what we think of today as original punks.

Ukulele being a weird time capsule of original British 70's Punk (also probably a capsule of the anomalous punk scene around that time period) is probably the only cool points I'll give him. He can have that one. 'Never left his edgy teenager phase' and he should stay that way; also probably not a phase anymore that's just his moral and ethical compass now. He's not mimicking the edgy teen stereotype, he is the stereotype that teens are trying to mimic. Calling him a punk isn't an insult that's just factual what he is.

All the headcanons about Uku giving himself piercings and compulsion to dye or just shave off all his hair and wear black makeup. Somehow 100% could be something he'd do in canon if left to his own devices. We are the 100s of monkeys on keyboards that in an effort to just make Ukulele the edgiest try hard ended up making a logical character trait. Everyone should get a pat on the back for accidentally making Agent Ukulele a functioning character from the scraps of nothing we see on the wiki.
