Dear Future Husband

Let’s sneak out together and go on a midnight drive.

We can listen to our favorite songs while singing in the car. We can bring our packed lunch/dinner on a basket but most likely the basket is really a cooler to keep our drinks chilly. We can have a slow dance under the stars or moonlight. No music. Just two heartbeats. We can travel to uncharted and untouched places where we can set up a tent and watch our utmost favorite films and tell each other why we love it in the first place. We can also go near a lake if we pass by one. If we get lucky, we can row a small boat together while bringing our windbreakers and an outdoor lamp just in case we want to stay in the middle of the calm waters. If you’re feeling a little bit more daring, maybe we can even skinny dip. I don’t mind the cold as long as you don’t. Either way, we can warm our bodies with each other if the cold becomes too unbearable and for as long as the night colors the sky.

We can just be ourselves, you and me. Because with you, the world is in a new light. It’s brighter. It’s more vibrant. It’s more beautiful.
