[ORR] Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast - Licht Klein Route Review.
Hello everyone, this is my second route for CYBIRD's Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast. And we will make a review about it today. I will also compare the three routes I've had so far!
Tumblr media
MAIN PLOT: You are an ordinary citizen of Rhodalite that works in a bookstore, living life through the stories written in books. One day, your pure heart caught the eye of a Royal Minister turning you into 'Belle'. Your job is to discern which of the 8 Princes are worth to be the next King of Rhodalite. With their own charms, any blossoming love will be doomed by the Clause 99 of Belle's Covenant.
MAIN ROUTES: 1st Prince Jin Grandet, 2nd Prince Chevalier Mitchel, 3rd Prince Clavis Lelouch, 4th Prince Leon Dompteur, 5th Prince Yves Kloss, 6th Prince Licht Klein, 7th Prince Nokto Klein, and 8th Prince Luke Randolph. Minister and King's Regent, Sariel Noir and, Your Butler, Rio Ortiz.
Currently, Sariel, and Rio's routes are not yet released but Season 2 Prologue is out, introducing the three upcoming routes after Sariel and Rio.
My third route for this game is, 6th Prince Licht Klein. He is the older twin of Nokto Klein. He is portrayed as the quiet Prince, aloof, not interested in befriending anyone.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR HIS ROUTE!
Tumblr media
Licht Klein was introduced as someone that is cool and distant from everyone. When I first met him in the story, I really didn't find any interest in his character at all, his design is pretty but nothing too outstanding and his distant attitude didn't really seem to attract me, too. Ultimately, I chose him after Yves just because I really didn't want to play Clavis or Nokto's route just yet and I thought it would be different to choose a character I wouldn't really pick first.
In the first part of the story, he is very distant and Belle tried to befriend him through Yves. I didn't really see anything unexpected from his character in the game, I knew he would be the way he was when I chose his character. One of the first interaction is when Licht left his gloves after the tea party with Yves and took it as a chance to spark a conversation with him. Which is very effective, considering the photo we got from that.
Tumblr media
Licht didn't have a big character development right after this scene though which I liked. I appreciate when stories have a semi-realistic feel to it. Belle continued to try to talk to him and get closer to him but Licht kept pushing her away. Why he was that way is not easy to figure out either, asking Nokto for why Licht is that way also didn't gain any answer for Belle because they both have complicated personalities stemming from a complicated backstory.
The complicated backstory, how hard Licht is to get to know mixed with how kind and sweet he really is made me love his character after a while. Licht and Nokto were born twins, there's a saying that when twins are born, the other one makes good luck and the other makes bad luck. Licht convinced himself that he is the one that creates bad luck and basically everything bad that happens to everyone around him, he thinks is his fault.
He talks about sinning, later on, Belled found out that he killed his mother in order to protect Nokto. They were told to fight each other until one is left, he had no other choice. The King made sure he didn't receive any consequence and this caused him to be eaten by guilt. All of these situation, made him the way he is and honestly, it made him so lovable.
He is vulnerable and fragile, unlike other Princes but is also very strong, courageous, kind and sweet. He is one of those characters, I think, people will find hard to hate.
Tumblr media
His character development is slow but you can tell there is progress, the storyline itself is stressful but I became more worried about his well-being more than what's happening. His story definitely is stressful though, considering he almost died and the part where he almost got executed. Although that is the case, we get to see the bond he and Nokto actually have which is great to see.
Belle and Licht never fully confessed to each other, they used the word 'adore' and 'hate' to convey how much they like each other. A lot of kissing scenes as well which is surprising from Licht's character as well.
The ending though is a little bit weird for me, they weren't meant to see each other after she chose the King, in which she chose Leon for. But Licht was still able to visit her once in a while. In the end though, they ended up dating without any consequence from the royal court which I'm curious what would happen but it was never showed.
What I like about the ending is that Rio is so opposed to Licht compared to the other princes that I've taken. But that is with good intent. Overall, it's not a full happy ending but it sure feels realistic in terms of Licht's character.
I chose the Romantic Ending this time for Licht as I wanted his outfit. I will definitely go back to his route for the other Ending, too
Tumblr media
COMPARISON TO CHEVALIER AND YVES ROUTE:
Compared to Yves and Chevalier, his story is definitely closest to Chevalier in terms of the complicated storyline. Although Yves also has complications in terms of other Kingdom, his character is not as hard to breakthrough compared to Chevalier and Licht.
That being said, I think Licht is my favorite route and Chevalier being my second one!
-
Anyway, Season 2 Prologue is out and it is said that Sariel is going to be out next month! For now, I'm starting Clavis' route so expect him as the next review!

IKEMEN PRINCE: Beauty and Her Beast Season 2 TRAILER IS OUT!
Earlier last year, there has been a trailer of Arc 2 or Season 2 of Ikemen Prince preview has been released. Today, they just released their Season 2 trailer in their Youtube Channel!
youtube
Three Princes will be coming soon from 3 other Kingdoms outside of Rhodolite; Obsidian, Jade and Benitoite.
Tumblr media
It seems like the Japanese Version of the game already has Sariel and Rio's route out according to those in the comments but I'm not really sure that is accurate, as far as I know, the ones that are available are the 8 Princes. But according to the comments, the order of the release will be:
Sariel
Rio
Silvio
Keith
Gilbert
And the other Princes from other nations have been teased in Clavis' route, that I haven't gone to yet!
So, we definitely should expect Sariel's route first and then Rio before the end of Season 1 and the introduction of the other Princes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For Sariel and Rio, which one are you excited to try? I'm definitely excited to see Sariel's route. It's interesting, considering what we know about him through the routes of different Princes in the game. For me, Rio's route is more likely going to be last along with Luke as I just don't have interest for plots like them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These screenshots are very much interesting to me! Chevalier is my favorite Prince in the game and it's interesting to see the trailer where Gilbert and Chev most likely have some tension going on!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whose route are you interested in with the 3 Princes that are coming up? I personally am the most interested with Prince Gilbert and Prince Silvio, it seems like their plot will be the most interesting (and stressful) routes of the game which I like.
Prince Keith feels like he has Rei of Several Shades of Sadism's attitude so he will also be interesting.
What are your thoughts?

[ORR] Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast - Yves Kloss Route Review.
Hello everyone, this is my second route for CYBIRD's Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast. And we will make a review about it today. I will also compare the two routes I've had so far!
Currently, Sariel, and Rio's routes are not yet released.
My second route for this game is, 5th Prince Yves Kloss. He is portrayed in the game as someone who is the tsundere type, he is very proud of his nobility and prince title and seems somewhat unfriendly.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR HIS ROUTE!
Tumblr media
Yves Kloss' character was introduced in the prologue as very arrogant and unfriendly. I wasn't entirely sure of what to think of him when I first met him in the prologue but I do know he is one of, if not, the prettiest character design in the game which makes a lot of sense for his personality as well. His character design is what made me choose him for my second route, even though I have no idea what the story would be like.
In the first part of his story, he made a deal with Belle in a way to make sure she is doing her job but it is clearly just to make sure she can protect her while she is doing her job. The promise to 'If I ever fall in love with you, I'm all yours. If you fall in with me, I'm all yours' is once of the things that was promised in the first part of the story which made it exciting.
Tumblr media
Yves is a tsundere so his character in itself is built with a wall, he doesn't say things straight to the point and his intention is not too clear but knowing his character's archetype, it was very easy to figure out for me. His walls are not too hard to breakdown either, we got to know him quickly and we're made to realize that his heritage is very complicated.
He is a mixed blood with Rhodolite and Obsidian royal blood, Obsidian Kingdom is in bad terms with Rhodolite so his reputation is very much stained because of that. He is seen by the people of Rhodolite as a future traitor because he has the blood of an Obsidian Prince. Although that is the case, Belle learned that he is very much kind-hearted and love his people a lot and hopes to bring peace to all Kingdoms one day.
The whole plot of Yves is not too stressful at all, I would say he is something you'd expect from an Otome game, it's very cliche but in a beautiful way. The main conflict of his story is his heritage and it was emphasized in one of my favorite scenes of the story.
Yves crying in the kitchen, questioning his worth, Belle got to know how much he hates himself more than anyone in the Kingdom. He asks that he hates being himself and wish to be someone else. This is the depth of Yves that I was genuinely waiting for in terms of his character and it was given!
As a player, you feel like you want to protect him and nurture him, and Belle feels the same way in the game, too!
Tumblr media
The story got complicated near the ending, he's been used as a pawn by the Obsidian Kingdom, trying to kill him off as a way to create a false story that could make them take over Rhodolite. This was all after Belle confessed to him before he goes to Obsidian.
The rest of the Princes went there to protect Yves and stop Obsidian's plans, with Licht bringing Belle with him so that Yves 'will have a reason to live'. Yves showed love for himself and courage even when he was all alone fighting all the Obsidian's knights.
The ending of this route is very nice and comforting, too. He made a peace treaty for all the nation, fulfilling his wish to make all Kingdoms unite. Belle didn't choose one King, but rather chose all 8 Princes to lead the Kingdom in the mean time as everything calms down. She would then choose a King afterwards.
The Clause 99 is not at all followed in Yves' route, it was almost neglected in the story with Sariel's support of it. It wasn't also shown who she chose King at the end of the story but it was a lighthearted ending.
For the ending, I chose the Dramatic Route, it is sweet and funny, too. As I said, Yves' route is definitely very cliche but it is a nice story to have after Chevalier's route.
Tumblr media
COMPARISON TO CHEVALIER ROUTE:
Compared to Chevalier's route, Yves is definitely more laid back. If you want a more fun, romantic and cute route that follow cliche touch of Otome games, Yves route should definitely be your first pick in the game. Chevalier's route is honestly the type that makes you question why you chose his route because it's so stressful but his route interest me the most.
Out of the two, Chevalier's route is still my favorite.
-
Anyway, Luke and Clavis' route are out now, it will probably take me time before I can actually play Luke because his personality is really not my type. But as of the moment, I am in the middle of Licht's route at the moment so he is the next review!

[ORR] Ikemen Vampire: Temptation in the Dark - Leonardo Da Vince Route Review
Hello everyone! This is another Otome route review, but I am talking about Ikemen Vampire: Temptation in the Dark, which is another CYBIRD game. I wanna let you all know that this route was played by me back in 2019, so it has been a while and I might not remember the story as well but I will try my best to remember it. I will also post my second route in this game soon.
Tumblr media
MAIN PLOT: You are an ordinary citizen of the 21st Century, visiting Louvre Museum in Paris, France. A magic door leads you back in 19th Century France where you meet the most famous men in history living in one mansion. The twist is that they are all vampires. You are stuck in the mansion for a full month until you can go back to your original timeline, that is if you haven't fallen in love with one of them yet. MAIN ROUTES: Napoleon Bonaparte, Leonardo Da Vinci, Isaac Newton, Vincent Van Gogh, Theodorus Van Gogh, Arthur Conan Doyle, Jean D'Arc, Osamu Dazai, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, William Shakespeare, Comte De Saint-Germain, Sebastian, Vlad, Johann Georg Faust, Charles Henri-Sanson. Currently, Sebastian, Vlad, Johann Georg Faust, Charles Henri-Sanson are not available routes.
My first route in this game was Leonardo Da Vinci, he is introduced in the game as someone who sleeps around the mansion wherever he pleases. Displayed as someone who is easy going at most.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THIS ROUTE!
Tumblr media
Leonardo caught my attention in this game immediately, especially in the Prologue, and boy, he is a mysterious character that is also very lovable! His type of route is not something I would choose in these types of games but his attitude and voice honestly made me curious about him.
Leonardo's character in the game is very warm, he is fun and very much surrounded by mystery at the same time. He is very laid-back and calls the MC, 'cara mia', he is one of the characters I easily liked the most in the game. I mean, in the first part of his route, he kissed the MC to calm down, so yes, he is very heartthrob-y.
The main plot of his route is that MC was scared when she figured out that all of them are vampires but due to Sebastian and Le Comte's explanation, helping Leonardo stop the hundreds of love letters asking for his marriage and to be able to protect MC, they become Leonardo's fake fiance.
Tumblr media
Leonardo's route is a really fun one, he and the MC banters a lot in-game, they joke around and have fun which makes this route become sweet immediately. Of course, his route isn't just that, there is always a drama in Ikemen's games.
Although not as bad as the other routes, there is confusion between MC and Leonardo in the middle of the story. He doesn't want to hurt each other, with her falling in love with a vampire and him falling in love with her when she has to go home, it is very dramatic in that area.
In this route, I felt that the conflict is honestly between the two characters only and their trouble accepting their own feelings and dealing with it especially Leonardo.
Tumblr media
Leonardo Da Vinci is my first every route in this game, I've chosen two other ones since then but I can honestly say that his route is the best one to start with in the game. His story is sweet enough to captivate you into playing the game, his background story and his personality is enough to want to get to know him more in game.
The conflicts and problems are not as heavy or stressful, compared to other routes in the game or even in the other Ikemen series (Chevalier Route in Ikemen Prince). So he is a good introductory story for the game and can lay the plot of the whole story clearly before going on other routes.
For the ending, I actually chose the Dramatic Route (If I remember correctly,) I remember not feeling enough drama as I read this that I decided to go through that ending. Where Leonardo expected MC to leave the Mansion and never come back again but the MC shut the door and stayed inside with him. Unbeknownst to him, Le Comte already knows that she doesn't wanna come home but rather just put on a performance for him.
In this route though, he is very insistent on the fact that MC lost her life on her original timeline for him, he refused to be selfish but in the end, MC made him believe that he does deserve the love he receives from her.
I like Leonardo's route but honestly, after the ones I finished and am currently doing, I will say his route is not the most exciting out of all but as I said, his story is a good introductory route for those who is just going to start the game.
Tumblr media
Anyway, this is it for this route review. I stopped playing this game 2 chapters before finishing Theodorus' route because I had a new phone and got distracted. I finished Theodorus and is currently half-way Napoleon's route, so expect their routes to be reviewed next!
I apologize if this is not a long review or anything, as I said, it's been so long since I finished Leonardo's route that it's almost hard to remember every single one of the events.

[ORR] Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast - Chevalier Mitchel Route Review.
[EDITED, I wrote the first version of this at 5 am so it was so unclear, that I decided to edit it!]
Hello everyone, this is our first route review for Otome Games that I have personally played. For today, we will talk about Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast which is made by CYBIRD.
Currently, Clavis, Luke, Sariel, and Rio's routes are not yet released.
My first ever route in this game is, 2nd Prince Chevalier Mitchel. He is the cold character in this game, portrayed as cruel, cold, beast and lack of human heart, his route definitely intrigued me the most.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THIS ROUTE!
Tumblr media
Chevalier Mitchel is one of the first characters in Ikemen Prince that is introduced during the prologue. Honestly, his type of character is the one which I am very attracted to especially in terms of personality. I just like how stories go with a personality like his.
In the first part of his route, you shouldn't expect anything romantic of sorts with him. Chevalier is described as cold and very beast-like (aggressive, no mercy, and no heart), although a very common archetype in Otome games, I like how his character is written compared to the other ones I have played before.
The background of Chevalier is heavy and deeply rooted in his childhood, as said by Prince Clavis, the 3rd Prince, Chevalier had no heart since he is a kid. This means his attitude became very hard to discern from Belle's point of view. Especially when Belle is starting to see the human heart within the 'beast'.
Tumblr media
There are parts in the story where I, as the player of the game, even wondered if I did choose the right route as the introduction to the game. I felt like it was too dramatic, too complicated, and like he was a bad character to choose which is exactly what Belle felt like in the story. To see the human heart within Chevalier as a character and suddenly being greeted by his brutality on how he decides to do things for their Kingdom is definitely a rollercoaster.
One of my favorite moments in the story though is the part where he is seen during the memorial of the soldiers that passed because of the war he caused. Acted tough as if he didn't mind the death of those soldiers when in reality, he wanted to remember each and every name that has died for their Kingdom and to continue to become the best leader for them. This is the part where Belle also starts to realize what he is.
He has a human heart but choose to pretend he doesn't have it!
Tumblr media
I like the fact that this route isn't the usual 'bad guy became good' story, since he has been this way as a kid, it took a long time for Belle to change his heart. To be able to listen to his people instead of acting on what's best for the Kingdom regardless of who he hurt. Belle made him realize that there is, after all, a middle way when making a decision for the Kingdom and its people.
This route definitely didn't have a generic ending either, I chose the Romantic Route for the ending because I genuinely can't handle any more drama from his route. Either way, the ending is that Belle and Chevalier followed the Clause 99, even when both of them have strong feelings for each other.
They are not together for a year, pretending to be happy for each other even when they are apart. Prince Clavis, as annoying as he is in this story, became an important part of them getting back to each other after a year. The ending was nice and actually pretty sweet especially the epilogue.
To be honest, there is a part of me that wishes there was a choice for a sad ending, where they both don't end up together and find lovers of their own. But, the ending was sweet and not rushed at all.
If I have anything bad to say about this route, it probably is that Prince Clavis is annoying, he is an essential part of his route for it to actually happen but his character is annoying for me. Other than that, it's a good route and I would recommend it to anyone, maybe not as a first route though, it is very stressful!
Tumblr media
Anyway, that is it for this route review. I am now doing my next route which is Yves Kloss, the 5th Prince! I will tell you my thoughts about him when I do finish his.
