currently obsessed with the banality of a nation’s existence.

if one might think about it, their purpose is utterly useless, or at the very least, to be unimportant. there isn’t a reason for them to truly exist the way they are, there was never reason and humanity would have progressed without them. they aren’t a centrepiece nor do they carry genuine value to the universe. they are simply an offshoot, a side effect of people and countries forming. they don’t have a reason to exist; all the suffering they went through was in the end pointless anyways.
