Indian Entrepreneur makes it the key goal to recruit and train Youth – Great opportunity for Freshers

- My internship journey with IFORTIS CORPORATE , INDIA

I had only given my semester exams and for a 1st year student , I pretty much didn’t know what I was supposed to be doing . Repercussion of the pandemic means my internship would make most sense if it were to be online . To be honest , everything seemed easy with the premium sites ,except for spam recruiters and social media exploiters. Social media exploiters are firms that take partial control of your social media handles ; where you would be forced ( under a contract) to post the content that they give you . You basically advertise them for free! Now unpaid internships aren’t bad but be sure about what you are getting yourself into. Beware of such recruiters.

Landing eyes on my employer was easy , given IFORTIS CORPORATE was actively recruiting and was hiring interns for various departments like Corporate Ambassador , Marketing intern , HR intern , etc., The recruiting process was very professional and smooth, I’m thankful to the interviewer. Working with IFORTIS CORPORATE as an intern , is easy . For a fresher you’d be given a couple of tasks , in every process of which I had the HR for help . The SOPs’ or tasks assigned for me were of a great learning experience and they were also detailed . IFORTIS CORPORATE takes their CSR very meticulously , that throughout the one-month training experience , they never failed to inspire me. At the time of my training , their on-going project was AARAMBH 2.0 , which they collaborated with another youth-driven startup - STEPAHEAD, the first and largest ever virtual youth festival and I had my targets to complete . YES, the firm offers you the complete corporate experience.

My experience from the internship is that now I know a little about how a corporate works . From now , dealing with customers should be no myth to me . If you ask me about my pros-to-cons analysis , I have more for myself in this !

- ONE , that I’ve made an efficient use of my summer vacation . For an Economics major , this is definitely a hand on experience

- TWO, this is a great addition to my resume that now I have something more than others , more than you , for a fresher.

- THREE, contacts ! I needn’t really opinionate on why its important.

IFORTIS CORPORATE does not end as an IT industry or an Event Management Company. They would soon be making their mark in the Textile & Manufacturing industry . I’m happy to be a part of a growing industry that really pays deed to social responsibilities of a corporate.

The corporate has made it a goal to hire more youth and women . This is a beautiful and I think they’re the first ever to actually do this . It is mostly youth and women that run the company , and it has come out beautifully so far . To preach of female and youth empowerment is one thing , but to practice it is a whole other concept. Kudos to the team. My mentor Ms. Soundarya Visvanathan lent her hand of help at all times. In fact, I’ve had this opportunity to learn so much , most importantly this balance in getting work done from the employees while she’s still a good friend to us . It is an A-pointer. She made herself available all the time for official calls which was of a great help to me for I was only beginning .
