Somewhere Else the Avatars of Fear work collaboratively towards a grand ritual.
The Fears know how to bring themselves into the world now, it's just a matter of communicating this to their Avatars. They now also have infinite worlds to chose from, so it doesn't matter if they glut themselves by destroying a world when they can just move onto a new one after this one runs dry.
A fun fanfic idea is the Fear Avatar Community, an AU where all the Avatars are friendly with each other and get along. And you know what? The characters could have personally happy lives and still be part of a cosmic horror setting. Because the reason that this world's Fear Community has internally friendly relations is due to the Fears encouraging cooperation in a bid to have the Apocalypse happen sooner.
Somewhere Else being an Avatar comes with protection for yourself and your loved ones, along with a place in an accepting community. Somewhere Else the Fears devour humanity within a millennium of their arrival.

Imagine if the Inquisitor had first touched the Orb with something other then their left hand. How awkward would it be to have the Anchor on a foot instead? Or worse, if it had hit them in the head or the chest, would they have even survived?

The Sandman x The Borrowers where Borrowers are a side effect resulting from the events of Dream of a Thousand Cats.

A crossover between The Sandman (2022) and Inception (2010) would be interesting because Inception's dreaming sharing technology would have developed during Dream's captivity, so his return to the Dreaming would almost certainly have affected its use.
And building back earlier it's possible that Dream's captivity and the side effects there of, aka the sleepy sickness and such, may have inspired humanity towards a greater study of sleep and dreams that then formed the eventual base of knowledge necessary for the creation of dream sharing technology.
Plus... what would happen if someone tried to use a PASIV Device on a Dream or Nightmare pretending at humanity in the the Waking World? Would Somnacin even affect them? And if it does (assuming that the affect isn't something like 'instantly banishes them back to the Dreaming' - useful as that might be) what would trying to dream share with one of Dream's creations do to a human? What would it do to the Dream/Nightmare? And this was tried both during and after Dream's imprisonment, would the affects differ?

Is there anything stopping Ryuk from reclaiming the Death Note Light buried? Like once Light relinquishes Ownership, it's far game for any Shinigami to grab, right? Light is simply relying on Ryuk's agreement and desire to continue watching the Kira-show.
But like imagine something happened and Misa digs up the spot where the Death Note should be and all that's there is a couple of pages, Light's letter to her and a note from Ryuk saying, "Sorry Light-o, needed this back real quick, left you some pages, be back later."
And I think Light's plan to force Rem to kill L to protect Misa would still work, but the whole time he'd be internally screaming and as soon as L is dead he'd launch straight into trying to figure out where Ryuk and the Death Note have gone.

Death Note x Danny Phantom crossover where some Shinigami started watching Amity Park after the Portal opened and during Livin' Large freaked out at the Guys In White's attempt to destroy the Ghost Zone.
By which I mean they kill all the Guys In White at Fenton Works and start hunting the rest. Even the Shinigami are not down for the sort of arrogant stupidity that if successful would result in the destruction of Earth.
Sam and Tucker are slightly traumatized from watching all the agents holding them captive drop dead. Danny's on edge from having arrived at Fenton Works to dead bodies, his friends alone alive and no clear idea why.
In Japan, Kira and L take notice as news of these strange killings, clearly Kira's power but not Kira's usual targets, draws attention world wide.

So, does A Glitch In Time imply that Halfas are the natural state of being, or is that just me?

AU where Light tells his father that he is being stalking him instead of plotting how to kill his stalker.
Because Light is not merely a pretty, popular, teenager, but he's also the son of a very high ranked police officer. He's absolutely a potential target for very dangerous stalkers and the possibly of him or his sister or mother being targeted for his father's work sounds like the sort of thing that the family might have discussed.
So telling his father he feels like someone is following him and maybe catching a few discreet photos of his stalker as proof, is a much more sensible, much less suspicious plan then his canon elaborate murder plot.
Aka an AU where Light decides, at least for this single instance, to be reasonable, instead of dramatic.

Had a ridiculous thought inspired by these posts.
AU where Vlad switches forms whenever he comes into contact with Diet Soda. As his Portal Accident was contaminated with Diet Soda, it is the trigger for his transformation.

Death Note AU were instead of using his newfound power to kill criminals Light does the sane and responsible thing: he combats climate change by killing the rich.

A thought on Dragon Age: Inquisition main quest names: does your brain automatically go to 'And Your Heart Shall Burn' or 'In Your Heart Shall Burn' when thinking about what the main quest that follows 'In Hushed Whispers/Champions of the Just' and precedes 'From the Ashes' is called?

AU where Zarkon gets eaten by the Black Lion during s2e7 Space Mall.
Because our main villain dying like that would have been to abrupt and anti-climatic for canon but also it would have been hilarious and isn't that exactly what fanfiction is for?

So, I know that Sam is canonically Jewish, are there any canon indications about Danny and Tucker?

You know what I haven't seen? Danny and Tuckers as half-ghosts together after accidently activating the Fenton Ghost Portal atop themselves while posing for Sam's pictures.
I've seen Tucker as the half-ghost instead of Danny (although perhaps more rarely then other members of Team Phantom) and I love all of the Halfa Trio AUs. l'm pretty sure also I've seen at least one or two fics where Sam and Danny are Halfas together or Danny and Jazz are but never to my knowledge one were Danny and Tucker are.
And you know what? I think that's a pity because this AU could be fascinating.
