Types of Dragons
🌬Air Dragons🌬
These great dragons are ruled by the Sairys. Their Elemental colour is pure yellow, light blue, silver, white, and gray. Where they inhabit is often warm and moist. Air dragons often have a very peaceful nature and they like to share what they know, in fact, they feel that all knowledge is worth having. As their name suggests, they control the winds and can manipulate air with amazing dexterity. They can even remove all air from an area, creating a vacuum that is next to impossible to fill. These dragons are often long and slender, some have gauzy wings, and their scales often have a feather-like quality and may have actual feathers around their heads, necks, and paws. They govern the Eastern Quarter of the Circle and you can apply Eastern associations to these dragons. Positive associations of these dragons are new beginnings, Spring, breath, optimism, joy, intelligence, mental quickness, and renewal. Negative associations of air dragons are frivolity, stagnation, bragging, and forgetfulness. The magick that these dragons control is often used to control weather, as one would expect. They are also useful in spells that blow away the old and are excellent in protection rituals, as well as magick that works for mental flexibility and openness to new ideas. Teachers and students both will find a wealth of information with these dragons as they can teach us how to better impart our wisdom, as well as sharpening our minds so that we can learn better. Other forms of dragons that fall under this category are Lightning Dragons, Storm Dragons, Wind Dragons, and Weather Dragons.
🔥Fire Dragons🔥
The ruler of these dragons is Fafnir. Their Elemental colour is pure red, amber, red-orange, and all shades of flame. They tend to live in warm and dry areas. These dragons have a fiery disposition, but can be very gentle and understanding. It is also true that they can be unpredictable and difficult to work with until they get to know you. Once you gain a fire dragon’s loyalty, they are unwavering and powerful friends. Their bodies are often thick and heavy with a long snake-like neck and tail. They often have wicked-looking horns on their heads and their mere presence can make a room warmer. Fire dragons are fierce protectors and are often heralded by their loud roar. They govern the Southern Quarter of the Circle and Southern correspondences can be applied to fire dragons. Positive associations for fire dragons are Summer, the sun, blood, any kind of helpful fire, enthusiasm, activity, change, passion, courage, daring, will power, and leadership. Negative associations for these dragons are hate, jealousy, fear, anger, war, ego, conflicts, and irritability. The magick of fire dragons is often used for personal purification on any level, for energy or courage, and for the stamina needed to pursue your dreams and finish important projects. You can also use their potent magick to help remove barriers, but once they are set on a course, they are very difficult to halt and will go through or over anything  or anyone to achieve their goal. If you don’t have a good working relationship with these dragons and you employ them, they can turn your spell into something destructive that will “burn” through all obstacles and leave ruin in their place. Other forms of fire dragons are Steam Dragons, Heat Dragons, Lava Dragons, and Desert Dragons.
🌊Water Dragons🌊
Water dragons are ruled by Naelyon. Their Elemental colour is pure blue, dark blue, blue green, and turquoise. They live in cold and moist areas. Water dragons have a very soothing influence and are drawn by strong emotions, but will not contact anyone who lets their emotions constantly run away with them. A room may feel a few degrees cooler when water dragons visit or you may notice an increase in the humidity. These dragons are long and serpentine, and rarely have legs or wings. Their scales will have a silvery or shimmery hue to them and they tend to have a feathery fringe around their mouths. Many times they appear looking like Oriental dragons and their eyes may have a glowing quality to them. Water dragons govern the Western Quarter of the Circle and Western associations may be applied to these dragons. Positive associations are calm water, compassion, peacefulness, forgiveness, love, intuition, calmness, peace of mind, and fluidity. Negative associations for these dragons are floods, storms, laziness, indifference, instability, lack of emotional control, insecurity, and overwhelming grief. The magick of these dragons is generally used for dealing with emotions, either calming them or stirring them up. You can also use their energy to help with movement or to help keep things fluid and open. You can call on these great dragons to help open up your psychic centers and lend their aid to your divination skills. Water dragons are also useful for calmness in all situations and on all levels, when you have to deal with anything that will tax your emotions, you should ask water dragons to lend their aid. Other types of water dragons are Ice Dragons, Mist Dragons, and Rain Dragons.
🌿Earth Dragons🌿
These dragons are ruled by Grael. Their Elemental colour is pure green, every shade of brown, and black. Their homes are in cold and dry places. Earth dragons are very quiet beings, they will observe from a distance until they are ready to approach you. Once you have befriended an earth dragon, they are very straight forward and will be blunt and honest with you, but are very loving and nurturing. They tend to have a ridge of sharp scales down their necks and back, their body scales are often very reminiscent of armor. Of all the dragons, these are the ones that like treasure and in order to build a strong relationship, you should keep a jar or dish full of coins. The earth dragon’s bodies tend to be very heavy and most of them have 4 legs, when they have wings, their wingspan is enormous. Earth dragons govern the Northern Quarter of the Circle and Northern associations may be applied to them. Positive associations for earth dragons are respect, endurance, strength, responsibility, stability, prosperity, thoroughness, and having a purpose in life. Negative associations are rigidity, unwillingness to change, stubbornness, and lack of consciousness, vacillation, and weakness. Earth dragon magick is good for building long lasting foundations, for helping to complete long-range goals, and for invoking stability into your life. You can also call on them for physical and mental endurance, as well as the strength to accept responsibility. If you are planning to do a spell for enduring prosperity and success, earth dragons are excellent for this, but they expect you to work towards your goals and not demand that they deliver it to you. Other kinds of earth dragons are Stone Dragons, Nature Dragons, Mountain Dragons, and Forest Dragons.
🌌Chaos Dragons🌌
These dragons don’t have a ruler. Their colour is pure black. Their homes are in Elemental Chaos. These dragons are always dark colours that blend into blackness, often it will look like they have stars caught in their scales. Their bodies are heavy and huge; in fact, they tend to be the largest of all dragons. They have wide, wedge-shaped heads and their long tails are barbed or spiked. Chaos dragons have huge wings that often blend into the night sky and may be hard to make out; they are masters of camouflage in spite of their large bulk and are rarely seen if they don’t wish it. These dragons are not evil or malicious, they work with us and their magick is often incomprehensible to us and they go beyond our limited view of happenings. Because of this, their acts may seem cruel, but they are working for our greater good. These dragons are pure representations of chaos and we are to call on them when we realize that not every problem or situation can be resolved with order and reasoning. When working with these dragons, they will go straight to the source of your problem or question and force you to confront it. This can be rather uncomfortable for us as we will need to deal with hidden aspects of ourselves that we may not be ready to face, so be sure that you are prepared to accept the consequences of invoking a chaos dragon. Chaos dragons do not act as Guardians nor Guides. Chaos dragon magick is mainly concerned with the recreation of lives, relationships, and careers. You can employ them to help break through barriers, with changing luck, and in bringing about vast changes. You can work with them to explore past lives and their magick is particularly powerful aids in divination. Their magick is also used to confine anything that will hinder you in forward growth and movement, if you invoke this aspect of them, be prepared to have everything that is holding you back leave your life, whether you want it gone or not. This is the type of dragon that we work with when we talk about “riding the dragon;” eventually during this ritual, we will have to confront our worst enemy - ourselves. Chaos dragons can also be heralds warning of catastrophe. To ignore what they have to say may bring about destruction in our lives.

Draconic Magick
A brief explanation on Dragon Magick. There are different beliefs and paths, this is just basic information.
Tumblr media
What is Dragon Magick?
It is calling upon dragons to aid you and work with you on your journey. Dragons can be called upon to give more power to your spells, but more often they grant us knowledge. Dragon Magick is a rather solitary path. While one can work in a clan, Dragon Magick dives deep into ones subconscious. You must face fears and memories long buried. As such, Dragon Magick calls for a lot of self-discipline, inner strength, courage, and the ability to seek knowledge on your own. As well as, knowing when it is appropriate to ask others for help. Dragon Magick is not a religion, so many couple it with Wicca, Druid, Egyptian, and other paths. It is rather spiritual, but it does not have Gods, or holidays [normally] so many choose to incorporate Paganism in it. It is a form of high magic, so it can be dangerous. Dragon’s are cautious around humans by nature, if they sense fear, or are mistreated in any way, they will lash out at the person who summoned them.
Tumblr media
What are Dragons?
Some believe dragons were once beings who dwelled in the physical, but humans began to slay them, and now they dwell in the astral. Occasionally, a dragon will return to the physical realm to visit, but they will be astral beings, so most will not see them. There are many types of dragons, European and Ling are most widely known, but there are also Lindworms, Wyvern, Marsupial, Amphiptere, Icedrake or Frost, Faerie, Dwarf, Hydra and many others. They come in many shapes, sizes, and colour. Some have wings or no wings, some four legs, two legs, or no legs, some breath fire, others frost, and some spit venom.
How Old is Dragon Magick?
The belief in dragons is ancient, and many traditions in Dragon Magick date back thousands of years. However, Dragon Magick it is believed, is a concept that is fairly new, cooked up by D.J. Conway. If this is true or not, it is not important. Dragon’s are ancient, as well as their strength and wisdom, and this path is very personal, full of inward gazes to build yourself up as a practitioner.
How do we Communicate with Dragons?
There are different methods, but the two most common, and best ways, are through meditation and astral projection. With meditation, dragons come to us, and we can see them clearer. Astral projection, we are traveling to their lair, to speak with them. All dragons react differently, so use your judgement when approaching them. In meditation, dragons come to us, but we are approaching them in the astral. If they walk away, do not chase after them, unless they want you to follow, they will attack you.
Tumblr media
Do I get a Dragon of my own?
Sometimes. Normally, dragon practitioners have two dragons; a guardian and a guide. The guardian dragon normally comes to us while we meditate, it’s a young dragon, and typically the size of a puppy or cat. They are rather energetic, and they protect the home from unwanted beings. Not all have them however, and sometimes dragons just visit ones home. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t have one, and don’t assume a traveling dragon is yours, your guardian dragon will tell you. The Guide is an older dragon who will be your teacher on your path. They normally stay in the astral. Sometimes you may have more than one, but don’t get discouraged if you don’t have one the first time you meet a dragon. It takes years.
How Long Does it take to become a Dragon Master?
There is no ‘Dragon Master’ and you can’t really ‘Master’ Dragon Magick. You always strive for knowledge, and are always working to improve yourself. in most paths there are four [or five including teachers] levels. To advance from beginner can take years, decades sometimes. Certain aspects of Dragon Magick can hold people back, even scare them away. To study Dragon Magick, you must conquer your fears.
Tumblr media
What are Some Milestones, or Tests, you Must complete?
After dedication, there is the Riding the Dragon ceremony which scares most people off. It’s not as simple as it sounds, normally a Chaos dragon, but it can also be your Guide if you’ve met them at this point, will take you on a spiritual journey to face all the things you wish not to. An example, if you were abused as a child, the dragon will make you relive it. You must come to terms with it, accept it, and move on. If you have yet to do so, and there is some lingering hurt from it, it will be exposed and magnified. Similar, if you have a fear of drowning, you will be plunged into water and forced to ‘sink or swim’ overcome your fear or be lost to it. it’s an intense ritual, taking a long time to complete depending on how much you have buried, or how long you put it off. It needs to be done though. Afterwards, there will be tests, but they are revealed by your Guide. As with the Riding the Dragon Ritual, you either pass, fail and retake it, or run away forever.
Remember, Dragon Magick is not for everyone, it is not a way to become an all powerful magic user, it is a spiritual journey that will bring great wisdom and power. You cannot lord over dragons, you cannot order them around. Working as equals is the only way to work with dragons. Other facts one should know ~Dragons take things literally, so choose your wording carefully. ~Dragons love riddles and symbols, and will communicate in them. ~It takes a long time to earn a dragons trust, but you can loose it in a heartbeat. Always be honest and truthful, not just with dragons.

Dragon Manners
Alright, my fellow humans, let’s talk dragon manners. In its basic form, talking a dragon at the first meeting would be like talking to a human you just met, just 500x more intimidating and happens to possess natural weapons that could easily kill you. So here are a few tips that’ll hopefully keep you off their hit-list.
Disclaimer: I do not speak for all dragons. Every dragon has their own preferences.
Dragon manners, I’ve noticed are a lot like human manners. If you wouldn’t touch another human on first meeting, don’t touch a dragon’s scales. If you wouldn’t run away from a human upon first meeting, don’t run from a dragon when they approach you. If you wouldn’t hang up on someone after calling them, don’t ignore a dragon after conjuring them. Basically don’t do to a dragon what you wouldn’t do to another human.
There are a few differences though. Some dragons don’t like giving out their names to someone they just met. They will probably tell you what they prefer to be called. If not, you could ask. They may give out a name given to them by a close human friend (like Toothless for example). Some dragons do give out their name and expect their name to be remembered while others may be forgiving if you forget it a few times. It depends on who you ask though.
Most dragons I’ve talked to, I’ve greeted with a bow of the head. That’s usually a sign of respect and can be interpreted as a ‘thank you’ for whatever nice thing the dragon did. For some dragons that have spent their lives at war with humans, it could also be a sign that you mean no foul towards them. I feel like it’s earned me a lot of respect from the dragons I’ve talked to. Though sometimes a kneel or a different type of bow may be required, depending on who you ask.
Basically, don’t be a douche to the dragon. It’s not right and plus, they could easily kill you.

Domestic Garden Witch: Dragons in the Garden
Tumblr media
So maybe you’re a college witch with limited space and money, limited to the one window in your dorm. Or, maybe you’re a witch without extensive backyard space who wants to start up a magical garden. Perhaps you’re a kitchen witch who wants the freshest herbs right at her fingertips.
For many witches, having a garden seems to be a bit of a no-brainer. After all, plants and magic go hand-in-hand. Plus, when thinking of a witch, it’s hard not to think of a cottage in the woods with a little vegetable garden out front. Unfortunately for the majority of us, our cottage in the woods is a tiny flat, and our garden out front is a windowsill with limited space.
This is when it comes time to embrace your craftiness and bring your garden indoors! Not only does it place your garden in a convenient location, it also allows you to freshen the air, recycle what would otherwise harm the earth, and embrace your witchy green thumb!
From Faerie to Dragon…
If you’ve been following my blog for a while (or have even looked at the name of the blog) you probably have figured out that I’ve got a rather strong love for dragons. They’re involved both in the way I present myself in media and in the way I practice my craft (there will never be a day where my altar doesn’t have a dragon - I even have two dragon incense burners that I incorporate in coven rites).
Like faerie witchcraft, dragon witchcraft has its own aesthetic and its own approach to spirits and magical workings. It’s something that tends to be (in my opinion) a bit more raw, primal, and emotional, presented in ways that are somehow logical and intellectual.
But something I have never seen when it comes to dragon witchcraft is a way to bring it out of the altar, out of the home, and into the garden. Flower beds and vibrant gardens are part and parcel of faerie magic, so that’s understandable. But dragons are creatures linked with the earth, as well. So where many of my previous Domestic Garden Witch articles were inspired by other projects, I’m going to diverge a bit to talk about bringing dragons into your garden!
Nobility, Protection, and Beauty
Dragons are heavily associated with various human qualities both positive and negative. I went over this in a Witchy Bestiary article some time back (one of my first in that series, if I recall), and you can read up on it here to get an idea of the qualities dragons can represent. For the sake of this article, I’m going to focus on three of their qualities: Nobility, Protection, and Beauty. Like with any witchy garden, one of the first things to consider is what the purpose of the garden should be. Is it merely to be a haven for dragon spirits (much like many faerie gardens are meant to be a haven for the wee folk), or perhaps it’s meant to encourage protection of the home? Or perhaps it’s meant to encourage strength and confidence in those who admire the garden?
From there, you can associate plants to the intent, planting them in ways that are aesthetically pleasing. Consider the color combinations - great go-to’s are flowers with fiery colors such as poppies, marigolds, and birds of paradise. But also consider the flower shapes. Dragons are intellectual creatures, so everything about the garden should be given careful consideration. Snapdragons are a favorite, as are trumpet vines and cherry trees. If the kind of dragon you intend to encourage in your life has a specific environment, consider how you can reflect it in your garden (i.e. ponds for aquatic dragons and rocky outcrops for European wyrms, or tropical gardens for the serpents of the Americas).
Nobility is a quality that encompasses both charisma and confidence. It’s the part of us that is both stately and self-assured. Consider plants that encourage this aspect of humanity both in aesthetic and intent - juniper, rosemary, birds of paradise, and roses. Decorate the garden accordingly with dragon statues or decorations that inspire confidence, such as pillars and busts, or even large stones to give the impression of mountains.
Protection is a quality that one would be hard-pressed to separate from a dragon. Whether the dragon hoards, or simply finds itself in a position of teaching, it will protect that which it holds dear with unmatched ferocity. We all would prefer that our homes be our safe spaces, where we can unwind in comfort and without fear of outside influence. Plants such as rosemary, roses, berries, or flowers with those bright orange and reds and yellows are all appropriate for such a garden. If you feel so inclined as to incorporate a dragon statue, situate it so that it faces the entrance of the yard or garden, so that it can keep watch as a guardian. Alternatively, incorporate gazing balls or crystals, or even stone circles to encourage protection of the home.
Beauty has many forms. For some, it is delicate. But the kind of beauty that dragons encourage is one of strength, grace, and heart. Yes, some dragons can represent that delicate and sometimes fragile kind of soft beauty. But the majority that come to mind are much more impressive, allowing their movements and sheer power inspire awe in those who are witnessing them. Gardens that are intended to bring in draconic beauty are less about color and more about structure. Hedges, standing stones, and tiered design are helpful in bringing about that aspect of strength. But a s this is a garden, color would more than likely be desired, and as such this is a great one for including various colors and varieties of flowers which can lift the spirit while letting the design of the garden provide that deep rooted sense of primal beauty.
In Conclusion…
The approach for designing a dragon garden is much the same as designing one for faeries. Different qualities can help influence the design of the garden, depending upon the intention being incorporated into the magic. When working with dragons in any way, be it a garden or simple spells, be sure to extend proper respect - they are much older than us, and will still be here when we’re gone - toward them and the areas dedicated to them.
Consider what kinds of influence dragons may bring or inspire in your garden, and perhaps a dragon will lend a hand.
May your harvests be always bountiful! )O(

☀💀A Pretty Big Curse💀☀
Made for an Asshole. A big Asshole. It worked the next day. I wanted this person to feel what they made me feel
Ingredients
—Bayberry (depression)
—Cayenne Pepper (anxiety)
—Chili Powder (discord)
—Dragons Blood (destruction)
—Lemongrass (bitterness)
—Tobacco (potency)
—Pepper (potency)
—A black candle
—A piece of paper with their name (make sure it’s a piece of paper thats big enough to fold in on itself, kind of like an envelope)
So what you do is you take the paper and put it on something that you don’t mind getting wax on. Light the candle near it. Let it burn while you work. Take each ingredient, put your intent into each one, and start covering their name with them. Make sure you let yourself feel what each ingredient means to you as you add them. Get angry. This is what it’s for.
Now you fold the edges of the paper over your ingredients like an envelope. Pour the black wax over it so it’s sealed. You can add sigils or symbols if you want, I personally didn’t.
Now you dispose of it. Throw it away. Flush it down a toilet. Burn it. Do what ever you feel you need to.
Always remember to cleanse yourself before and after curses. Before, to make sure you don’t have any influences other than what you want. And after, so you don’t have (super bad) negative energy that can make your life hard. I had to cleanse myself deeply twice.
Happy cursing!

Offering ideas for dragon spirits
Based on what I’ve given to my dragon friend, what he liked, and what he has suggested I can give him in the future. I’m writing this as a list of ideas for myself, but I thought maybe someone would like to read them:
-His own tarot deck to communicate through (refuses to share a deck with an angel).
-A lighter in a color he likes, specially if I’m going to use it to light candles for him.
-Candles in colors he likes, or with a scent he likes, or anointed with an oil he likes (he really wants to try almond oil for some reason, so I’m going to use that in the near future). Update: almond oil is great and smells nice, he likes it.
-Sharing food with him. He really likes anything with meat, fast food, and dark chocolate. (Curious because I’ve always been told spirits don’t like highly processed foods, but he really enjoys the strong flavors of fast food).
-Compliments. I’ve never wrote anything down, but whenever I directly tell him how majestic he looks he’s like ‘tell me more…’
-Exercise o_O He likes the energy that stems off from me while I exercise, and no matter how many times I explain to him that I’m just a blob trying to keep my heart healthy, he’ll be cheering for me like “No pain no gain! You have to train hard so one day you can be a great warrior again! GO GO GO GO GO!”. At least when I’m done he’s really tender and lets me know I did a great job, haha.
-Drawings. He likes it when I draw portraits of him, or things inspired on him.
-Flowers. Specially orange flowers in his case.
-Music. He likes it when I let him chose what we’ll listen. He likes jazz, and metal, specially if it’s really heavy or power metal.
-Videos. The videos he’s been enjoying lately are those with curiosities about the human body, and those of people reading through their middle school/high school journals. I think he’s curious about other humans.
That’s all that comes to mind now. I’ll add more if more pops up later.

On the Fae
Okay, so I’ve noticed a lot of misinformation and misunderstandings about the Fae.  What they are, what the Courts are, etc.  I’m writing this out to provide some guidance based on my experience with them.
So, to start, I’ll give you my definition of what makes a Fae, well… Fae.  So to me the Fae are defined as a non-human entity with human cunning that has never been human, but was not created with the purpose of serving a god (Otherkin are a whole other beast, which I don’t want to discuss in this post). Pretty general, no?  That’s on purpose, and though it isn’t perfect, it’s the best definition I’ve come up with to date.  It excludes things like vampires, which I would never consider Fae.  However, it troublingly includes werecreatures, which with some exceptions I don’t consider Fae.
In my experience, Fae can include things like the Yōkai in Japanese mythology. This is based on meeting the definition stated above.  However, this does not give me or any other person license to interact with beings that belong to closed cultures.  Just because it meets the definition, does not mean people should run willy-nilly about, interacting or interfering with beings that generally tend to not wish to interact with those who are not a part of their culture.
Courts and Manners
Moving on to the Courts. Firstly, there are more than the Seelie and Unseelie Courts.  There are Winter and Summer, Night and Day Courts, as well as numerous others.  I’m sure you’ve noticed a trend.  The Fae like to set themselves as opposites, and they tend to be quite territorial.  I have noticed that the Fae tend not to only have one version of the Courts.  There are small Courts scattered across territory, much like how human history had scattered kingdoms all through history.  However, I should add that speaking about the Courts only includes trooping Fae.  There are solitary Fae as well.
Good and evil.  I’ve seen this one a lot on Tumblr, especially in regards to Seelie and Unseelie Fae.  Unseelie are not evil.  Seelie are not good. Morality is a bit of a grey zone among the Fae, and you must remember just because they do not have the same moral code as you, that does not make them evil.  Interacting with any spirit under the assumption that they are going to be ‘good’ or ‘evil’ is extremely dangerous.  The Courts tend to attract Fae of certain temperaments and behaviours.
Now, let’s talk about species and appearances.  I’ve found it’s a pretty common misconception that the Court Fae, and Fae in general are tiny creatures no bigger than the palm of your hand.  This is definitely not the case.  Court Fae can vary in size from the size of my thumb to giant creatures. Usually these extremes in sizes tend not to be the rulers of the Court, but they do tend to be things like Knights. Most rulers of Courts that I’ve encountered tend to be approximately human size.  However, this does not mean they look human.  And I’m not saying ‘oh, they’re unearthly and beautiful.’  I’ve seen Fae that vary greatly; from the stunningly beautiful, to the strange, to the grotesque, to monstrous.  They’re incredibly varied creatures, and though they fall under an umbrella term I think it would be a mistake to assume they’re homogenous.
Values
Because I mostly see questions regarding Unseelie and Seelie Court Fae, below is what I’ve seen in regards to what they value:
Unseelie tend to value bloodsport, sacrifice, chaos, and the like.  Generally, they tend to be more welcoming of outsiders.  I should add that Unseelie tends to refer to the fact that they dwell under the hills.
Seelie tend towards a rigid sense of honor and dishonor, superiority to humanity, and have a strong sense of justice.  They are less welcoming of outsiders.  They spend most of their time above ground.
It should be noted that both of these Courts have participated in Tithes, where a mortal is sacrificed to appease those more powerful than the Fae.
Offerings and Bargains
Speaking of which, let’s discuss offerings and what working with them is like.  There’s a lot of things you can do to attract Fae. I recommend you tread carefully, especially if you are working in places like North America and are contacting European Fae or the like.  Not that you cannot work with them, but you need to have a basic understanding of the land.  In fact, I would say this goes for anywhere that experienced aggressive colonization. Make sure you make offerings or do things to appease the local spirits that have been there first.  Try planting native things to your area, or offering them local foods. They can turn on you if you create an influx of invaders, and create extra chaos in your life.  The Fae can be pretty open to interacting with mortals, but they’re very keen on bargaining. Be very specific on what you want out of a relationship and deal, and don’t immediately accept any offer they provide, otherwise you may end up getting the short end of the stick.  They tend to expect you to work hard to please them, but they will always keep up their end of a deal.  I also recommend erring on the side of extreme politeness, as no one wants to have an angry Faerie lurking around their house creating chaos.  As for offerings and such, I would look to whatever was typically offered to them in the past, or to simply ask them once you’ve struck a bargain.  As spiritual partners and companions, they can be extremely demanding, and want you to work hard and quickly.  When you first begin working with them, they will treat it like a business transaction. Overtime, as they get to know you, they may choose to befriend you, and you will develop a relationship over time. Be patient, and remember although they aren’t human, you have to earn friendship the same way you would with a person.
