Oh my gosh I just need to talk about this somewhere. Being on testosterone is actually the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life I am so so incredibly happy that I was brave enough to start even while still living around my parents. The internalized transphobia of living with my mom and having to hear her spout awful shit and also having to take great pains to hide all my needles and T from her still sucks.. but she's quite literally the singular person I am worried about in any way regarding my transition. Every single other person in my life has been so so encouraging and loving and wonderful and excited with me. It's the most beautiful experience in the world having my boyfriend be so excited for the changes as well as my friends and even my coworkers. I came into work today and was joking around with my manager about how I accidentally sliced my jaw because I have to shave now.. and my coworker overheard and was so genuinely excited for me. Its just amazing. It's not so scary at all anymore to talk to people and I just feel so much better at a baseline and even though I haven't had too much fat redistribution yet I already hate my body a great deal less. It doesnt make me want to skin myself to talk anymore from the way my voice has dropped. I'm just so happy..
