Please do not message me with your hints and tips to treat depression unless it is brand new and experimental because yes, I HAVE tried everything else, and yes, I HAVE heard of that thing.
I like Touhou and video game stuff.
I also write fanfic. My current project is a Devil May Cry fic called "Duet In Triple S Major" , about Kyrie becoming a devil hunter.
You should also check out my Death Note fanfic: Silent Partner, Unfinished Business. Everything you need to know about a crossover is explained in a single scene.
I wrote a blog about a fallout game that won't exist, called Fallout: Motor City. I have no idea how to un-flag that blog, but here are all the posts I mirrored on my blog.
Here is a Sailor Moon crossover fanfic that is also embarrassingly autobiographical, and I would like more people to read: Sailor Moon: Double Exposure. (It should be understandable even if you don't know the crossover, as long as you have the general gist of Sailor Moon.)
leftists when white supremacists are virulently antisemitic: if there’s four people sitting at a table with a nazi, there are five nazis.
leftists when islamists, arab supremacists, and leftists are virulently antisemitic: well of course there’s bad actors at every protest, and anyway these are just outside provocateurs, and they didn’t do anything really, but if they did it’s because those jews fucking deserved it
the way they made Aragorn and Theoden black was one of the most outraging things about the set, and it was outraging because it was a stupid decision that they could only defend with "hurr hurr if you don't like it you must be racist"
because the problem isn't that Aragorn and Theoden can't be black.
the problem is that Aragorn and Theoden can't be black if the rest of the Numenoreans and Rohirrim are white.
Fuck me, Eowyn is black and Eomer is white! They are siblings! The fuck sense does that make? You don't have to and shouldn't make Middle Earth racist because it isn't a modern pluralist liberal democracy, but you should recognize it's not going to be racially heterogenous because they don't have goddamn airplanes and don't have regular international travel and aren't former colonies so they're not going to look like America's racial makeup!
Just fucking commit and make the Rohirrim black, just make all of them black, and that would make sense. You did a thing with Eowyn having blonde dreadlocks whipped up by wind and speed, just make that the unifying aesthetic of the Riders of Rohan, that would be cool! But you didn't do that. You swapped characters' races at random, which is incredibly disrespectful to a story with the obsessive level of detail and history that LotR has. With so much detail on lineage and history and origin, you can't just go "eh some of them are black, uh, this guy and this guy" because it's not a reactionary view of race to say it's fucking genetically inherited.
Oh, and in the name of inclusion and diversity, they depicted female warriors in the Rohirrim (Harsh Mentor in the Commander deck). Which torpedoes Eowyn's entire fucking victory over the Witch-King and shows they didn't think about it at all. It is important to the plot and important to the character that Eowyn can only fight by pretending to be a man, and that she does so. If you want to show female warriors they can't be Rohirrim and probably shouldn't be Gondorian either; you show them among Elves and Hobbits and in irregular forces so that it still makes sense that the Witch-King would assume that everyone deployed to fight him was a man because that's a fucking pivotal point in the battle for Gondor!
The diversity in LTR is a perfect example of why people are mad at diversity pushes. Doing something in the name of progressivism, doing it really badly, and then when anyone objects, saying "Well clearly you're a racist sexist white male loser who hates minorities."
I get that there are a million inherent tonal problems with adapting the Lord of the Rings into any sort of combat-centric game, but I think the Magic set is the best LotR game adaptation by default because it does not flinch from Tom Bombadil
maybe this is a fundamental difference in moral views because i think oppression isn't bad because it harms certain groups, it's bad because it harms people. it DOES harm specific groups, and that's a necessary part of understanding it, but the mistreatment is the problem, not the fact that that mistreatment is unfairly distributed
You believe that musk death parody article is not making the point its authors are wanting it to make - which raises the question, what do you believe the accidental point is? It was not elaborated upon
1: these kinds of regulations can't be counted on
2: the people who demand them can't be trusted
Norse myth is also the public domain's property, didn't seem to be a problem for Kaldheim. So's the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, come to think if it.
If/when return to Rabiah? I already know it's if, but why so? Thanks.
If. I did name the scale after it. Rabiah’s biggest problems was it was just someone else’s property (albeit one in public domain).
