#its a lot more effective at building up fear in a viewer when you dont immediately go for a scary face jumpscare #in fact the series goes against that quite a bit and the dread is. not something good for me at 2 am actually i might be stupid.

ones i know off the top me head:

chainmail chasers - plays with the idea of investigating the history of old "cursed internet images" like jeff the killer and smile.jpg, but finding along the way they might really Be cursed. really fun and unique, more computer than video aesthic

gemini home entertainment - earlier videos are... not great. it starts off pretty standard like your average local58 knockoff with even less production value. but the further you go along, especially to the newest episodes, the stronger they become. shifting tendons, wretched hands, old bones are all very very cool in concept and execution.

valle verde - INSANELY high quality project. the visuals and effects to give the illusion of a real corrupted videogame are very detailed, and its just a beautiful series- the story / scare factor of the first episode might come off as a bit silly, but is immensely strengthened by the second. gets very strange, i realy like it

kane pixels - the backrooms series, and the concept as a whole, has probably been memed on to the ends of the earth. however youve gotta be pretty creative to get a bunch of people ripping on your own interpretation of this otherwise insanely open idea. but aside from that even, the oldest view is a beautiful, melancholy, and eerie series- unexplainable locations and giant puppets are already a big thumbsup from me, highly suggest watching
