leaving this group has proven to be one of the most difficult things victoria has had to do in her life. something that's very telling, considering the life she has lived. she should've left months ago, the day that she met them. it's not like they even liked her when she met them ; the feeling was completely mutual for the most part too. not anymore, though. now, they really cared about her and she felt the same towards them. especially luke and clementine. it's why her hand has been on the door every night, fully prepared to disappear in the night. and yet, she can never convince herself to open the door.

the conversation of her leaving comes up again with luke. mostly because he questioned the desires she had months ago, wondering if she wanted to stay for good. victoria can't blame him, not when she's always been known to run. " yeah, you could. you'd be fine without me, luke. this group was fine before i came along.
