This seems to be a theme of late, not just in my life but in the lives of others as well.

Growth is a natural part of life, we all grow at our own pace, and in our own unique directions.

Never let the revelation, reality and realization of other’s reaction to your growth hinder you.

Why? They didn’t plant the ORIGINAL seed.

Keep Growing!!! Negativity kills the seeds, don’t allow anyone or anything to destroy the seeds that you lovingly, faithfully and creatively planted.

This is deep on so many levels:

The monk knows the way

The way is clear, his goals will only be slowed down if he responds in fear

Skill comes by acknowledging the fear, but not allowing it to hold you up or weigh you down

The rope would be an attachment and a tether

The dangers of the cliff are real

In his mind there is no cliff

So as he climbs, he conquers fear

Mind over matter, because what we see, perceive, believe or fear becomes real.

Mindfulness is the key to communication…

First of all, watch the man’s hand, he slows his knowledge & respect before raising his hand to pet the leopard. No sudden moves.

Next he shows no fear, animals are keen on sensing fear, it is important to their survival.

His tone also probably played a part in the interaction, look how peacefully the big cat gazes into the man’s eyes.

Mindfulness is key…
