Anakin was still alive in Obi-Wan’s mind. Obi-Wan was engaged with him so intensely that he expected his apprentice to walk over one of those shifting sand dunes and grin at him again. Or scowl. He’d take anything. Any mood, any defiance. Just to see him again. Every day and every night he violated every principle the Jedi had taught him about staying in the present moment, about acceptance. Going over every argument, every talk, to find the key that he should have turned in order to unlock the secrets of Anakin’s heart.
MXTX didn't delve into the darker aspects of demonic cultivation all that much, but I really wanted to see more of WWX's gradual descent into insanity. You can't just drop "oh he came back wrong" on me and never mention it again, sdhskdf.
Imagine being Ezra Bridger. You’re a 16 year old orphaned Jedi padawan investigating a Sith planet for the first time, and you don’t know why or for what. When you fall into a hole, both of the adults in the room - trained Jedi, one of whom is your master - abandon you to chase down one inquisitor.
Lost and alone in a graveyard, a highly trained, highly skilled dark side Force user finds you and immediately recognizes your gifts, your abilities, and he knows that he can use you for his own ends (which shift and change as he gets to know you). As Sith do, he manipulates you into trusting him, into getting you to do what he wants you to do, and into touching the Dark Side. In your naïveté and innocence, you trust this person because you need help, and he’s convinced you that he can help you so long as you help him.
Besides, didn’t one of your teachers just say that in order to defeat your enemy, you have to get to know them?!
When you finally return to your teachers, with help because you have no idea who this person really is and he has, in fact, proven that he is willing to help you, the person who does know who he is doesn’t tell you.
No, in fact, besides questioning his presence or motivation to appear to be on your side, Ahsoka doesn't say...anything...about Maul. Then Maul starts going on and on about how Vader is due any second, and that this is your chance to defeat him.
Kanan knows that this isn't your fight, and he knows that you should leave; but you, Ezra Bridger, still believe you're chasing the chance to defeat the Sith. You try to convince your master to stay.
And if not for Ahsoka, perhaps you would have left. Because what you don't know is that Ahsoka has been investigating the Anakin-Vader connection all this time. She still has questions, and she still believes she has a chance to save him. She hasn't told you or Kanan about any of this, but Maul has known about it since the Siege of Mandalore.
Curious that Maul would say just the thing to convince Ahsoka to be on his side, no?
Ahsoka, then, sides with you, young padawan. She convinces your master to stay.
So, yeah. Poor Ahsoka. She didn’t tell Kanan or Ezra anything about Maul and let everything that happened to them, happen. She was as selfish as Maul, waiting for the opportunity to confront Vaderkin and leaving the other Jedi to their fates.

the humble "like" is oft mocked despite what it does for us. "like, three people" is a vastly different statement from "three people". "and i was like 'what the fuck'" is vastly different from "and i said 'what the fuck'". i love you "like" and anyone who says you make people sound stupid will be killed on sight
