I knew from the title I was in for a sob story but I was not expecting that. Jake and Jayden are super likeable characters. Perfect best friends. They go through so many life events together and come out stronger then ever everytime. Some events that make you cry. Some that make you smile. I feel like the author tackled grief and coping in a perfect way. This book teaches you that ever minute is precious. THE. END. OF. THAT. BOOK. I think I cried for the last two chapters straight.
