Reading all the angry rants about how there's nothing to work with for a SoC spin-off after SaB2 (with its CK scenes) and I'm honestly confused.

I'll name you a couple just from the top of my head: Break Matthias out of Hellgate? Ice Court heist? Jurda parem? Wylan's heritage reveal (and backstory) and consequently him claiming what's his? The whole married Wesper dynamics? Maybe some Wesper hurt/comfort and/or flashbacks to their first meeting? Kaz getting Inej back? More Kanej mutual pining? Helnik reunion and reconciliation? Nina's and Inej's backstory?

But what do I know.... right?

A quick thought on The Sandman

Here be spoilers!

So I've been thinking about the positive changes in characters' behaviors and motivations we see in the tv show, like

John Dee sparing Rosemary

Gould taking care of Jed and giving him a real escape

Jed's stepmom, while unable to help, at least not being complicit (or am I misremembering that one?)

the Corinthian actually being a pretty nice babysitter for Jed and a sort of decent fellow when he's not murdering people

Morpheus re-creating Gould

And honestly, I think a big factor for this is the fact that since writing the original comics, Neil is now a father. And he wants more light in the world. There is just something about the tv show that is slightly more hopeful than the comic. And I completely love it. <3
