A list of twelve Until Dawn related stories I hope to release one day even if I will likely never finish some of them:

Name: Every Second Spent

Comments: This is one I’m always developing the plan for, but am unlikely to ever finish due to how long it is. It’s basically a 152 part story showing Ash and Chris’ relationship over the years, from the time they meet to the gun scene, with a chapter representing each second that passes during the scene. Can be seen as a Chris-and-Ash-centric companion to Beginnings of a Butterfly.

Name: Han Has Left the Chat

Comments: This one is one of my oldest stories that has already been through several changes over the years. It’s also the one I think I’m most likely to be able to complete! It’s comprised of the various groupchats the Until Dawn gang have, from the day before the first trip to Blackwood Pines, to the first time they all get their phones back or replaced after their final trip there.

Name: Beginnings of a Butterfly

Comments: This is also one of my oldest; I think I started it back in 2016 just after creating the original Han Has Left the Chat. It basically acts as a prologue to the prologue, and tells the story of how the gang came to be, from Josh meeting Hannah and Beth for the first time as a toddler, to just before everyone leaves on the first trip to Blackwood.

Name: As the Sun Rises

Comments: This was the very first story I ever wrote about Until Dawn all the way back in early 2016, and unfortunately it’s the one I have the least drive to finish as I don’t currently have a plot for the story to follow! It was supposed to pick up immediately after the lodge gets destroyed, and follow the lives of everyone as they dealt with the aftermath of everything that happened.

Name: A House of Cards (from If I Could Turn Back Time)

Comments: “If I Could Turn Back Time” is basically a series of non-canon-compliant oneshots I have stored in the back of my brain somewhere. In this one, instead of tying up Josh in the shed, Chris, Ash, Sam, and Mike decide to tie him up in the lodge.

Name: Confess to your Crush! (from If I Could Turn Back Time)

Comments: When 15 year old Ashley’s favourite YouTuber asked for fans to send in confessions to their crush, she didn’t see any harm in submitting one about the boy she had met at high school, thinking it would be a sweet memory to look back on. The following year, she decided to submit again; hoping that getting her feelings out in the world again might put the crush to rest. The third year, she came back more as tradition, because some fans of the series had been asking for a follow-up. Now 19, Ashley is determined to make this her final year she confesses before throwing in the towel. It just so happens that this year, Chris, in a bit of a funk about his own crush, stumbles upon a series by a YouTuber he knows Ashley is a fan of, and decides to give it a watch.

Name: Shattered Minds, Shattered Glass, Shattered Hearts (from If I Could Turn Back Time)

Comments: Chris and the Stranger make it to Josh earlier, but not on time to stop Josh getting taken down into the mines. In their rush to try and help Josh, the stranger gets killed, but Chris is able to go after Josh. Meanwhile, back in the lodge, Ashley and Mike find Chris’ shattered glasses at the lodge door and assume the worst. Now Josh and Chris have to try and survive in the mines, and the others continue on, assuming the two to be dead.

Name: Untitled (from If I Could Turn Back Time)

Comments: When Beth runs after Hannah, both Mike and Ashley look like they’re about to run after her but second guess themselves. I thought it’d be interesting to explore what might have happened had the two of them run after Beth, and how the rather unconventional quartet of characters might have faired had they ended up down in the mines.

Name: Untitled (from If I Could Turn Back Time)

Comments: Instead of leaving Chris behind in the tunnels, Ashley elects to stay with him and let the others continue onwards to look for Mike.

Name: Out of Hand (from How We Met)

Comments: “How We Met” is another collection of unrelated oneshots stored somewhere at the back of my mind, only this time it follows various prompts for how different characters might have met. In this one, Chris and Ashley meet for the first time when their dorm washing machine breaks.

Name: Untitled (How We Met)

Comments: The gang’s school is running a series of end-of-year school trips to Europe, and each student is allowed to pick which of the five destinations to travel to, along with a back-up option incase the initial trip is full. Much to Chris’ dismay, he is chosen to go to his second option; a trip in which none of his friends are going to. During the trip, he meets and befriends Ashley.

There were a few others as well but these were the main ones! I think I might actually get to writing some of the more one-shot based ones, and will try to finish the prologue to “Every Second Spent” in time for the anniversary! Let me know if anyone is interested in any of them :)

So I stumbled right back into this fandom a week or so back and had completely missed that The Quarry was even being made, let alone released, until I saw a distinctly SuperMassive Games style screenshot on a YouTube thumbnail a couple days back! I have so many old stories I never published on here and some I’m even still working on now, and was wondering who’s still around! Some of the other puns in this chapter include Chris telling Ashley that the library is the tallest building in the school since it has the most stories, apologising that he didn’t make a reservation as the library appears to be fully booked, and justifying his breaking of the no-food policy by saying that the Thesaurus’ eat synonym rolls for breakfast.
