It’s FINISHED!

My hand embroidered “how meat loves meat” teeth patch. The full piece is about 10”/25cm wide.

Adapted from this pattern from 20somethingart on Etsy, who gave excellent instructions that included encouragement to make it your own. The shading is done with conventional sewing thread, the black outline & words are doubled embroidery floss. I was being punk rock and embroidered it on a piece I ripped off a bedsheet, which was a mistake; I would have done better to use a denser fabric. I had to iron a backing on to make sure that none of the particularly tiny stitches will come loose at the back.

But in the end, I’m very pleased with how it came out.

Harrow had a sword stabbed in her back while an arrow is coming out of Gideons. They are curled up touching foreheads together.
