OG Man SRNC Interview in Gladys Park, we are voting YES to the Skid Row Neighborhood Council

Words From Manuel Compito aka OG Man:  This " unique neighborhood " is in need of it's " own unique Neighborhood Council " in order to " concentrate " on solving the unique problems that exist in SKIDROW. The SRNC (Skid Row Neighborhood Council ) has the opportunity to do what DLANC couldn't...address the problems of Skidrow and not get sidetracked. The SRNC is not an entity to be feared. It is the only structure that can really mobilize all the elements, residents, service providers, business owners, residents of programs, stakeholders, etc. Business owners, loft dwellers that have become fearful of something they haven't taken the time to understand or haven't be given the time to check out what's really going on. The notion that SKIDROW residents are simply making a " power play " is incorrect. This SRNC must be " all inclusive " and serious about making the Neighborhood " SAFE, CLEAN & HEALTHY. It's that simple. Working towards these ideals, nothing can really go wrong.
