What’s your favourite Sims death?

i’m a sims 3 player thru nd thru, so the buried alive one from showtime. i just think the ghost looks so cool LOL.

always been an alpha girlie, i wish i could play mm but it’s not my style.

no!

it was showtime! my parents wouldn’t let me get late night because of the box art so i thought showtime was close enough.

Who’s your favourite sim that you’ve made?

in terms of looks, if they have an insta/twitter then it’s because they’re one of my favourite faces i’ve made, but in terms of story it’s either yinghua or juliette.

i’ve tried, but they never come out looking like me.

most of my sims have dark hair because they’re asian, so i’ll say black?

i don’t use EA hairs, like, ever.

Favourite life stage?

i love the teen to young adult transition! i love being able to watch my sims grow up and figure themselves out, so it’s hard to choose. i think i have the most fun playing with teens, but when they grow up and i get to progress their lives, i also have a lot of fun playing with them as young adults, since i’m already invested.

Are you a builder or are you in it for gameplay?

gameplay for sure! i can’t build.

the most i’ve done is make recolours for myself.

yea! most of my friends these days come from simsta so i can’t tag them, but @mal-functioning has been my ride or die since my sims 3 days.

no, i didn’t even know that existed.

How has your “Sims Style” changed throughout your years of playing?

since joining simblr to retiring from sims 3, i think i got better at being able to represent the features i wanted to, but my style evolved especially when i started making s4 sims. i think the way i do eyes has become very distinctive.

I am done trying to be nice about this because I am sick and tired of the sims community on instagram trying to speak over POC voices and brush what we got to say under the rug. Especially you! you can sit and hide behind your cc and simstagram account and talk amongst whoever you managed to manipulate and call it drama all you want, but I wasnt going to sit here and let you wait for me or anyone else who’s holding you accountable to shut up about it. You can be silent about your Second Life scandal, but you aint about to stay silent about this. And if you do? it really just goes to show how far you would go to believe that you’re right. You as a white woman need to take accountability for your comments and your harmful potrayal of Japanese women. I’ll be clear as day when I say this, but my expectations for that is set low because you can’t handle being held accountable for anything! You’ve proven that. All you do is giggle in the privacy and comfort of your dms about serious stuff that involves you, and double back on anything you have to say in order to spin a narrative that fits what lie you conjure up.

As a east asian myself, I tried to come to you about a comment you made towards both your half asian sim and black oc sims. I wanted to have a discussion with you about it so that I could educate you on why having an asian poc sim as half and half just to soften a blow, was wrong. But you went straight to a dead end apology while simultaneously “explaining” what you actually meant. Which by the way still did not make much sense to me because if you as a white admin think its only appropriate to have half asian sims simply because you aren’t asian? just dont make them half and half at all. Your way of thinking and portraying that is harmful as fuck. Your apology gave me no room to get down to the bottom of why it wasn’t appropriate. It made me double down instead and made me feel like you’d rather dead end a sensitive topic than talk about it. This all could have been talked out in private had you not tried to spin an outlandish, and quite frankly VILE narrative to me that was based on your assumptions about interactions you had 0 proof of ever happening. You went as far as to manipulate mutual friends into thinking your assumptions were factual as well, and now you have them also excusing your internalized racism/asian fetishization habits. I do not care anymore, Ive sat on this for too long.

But please, tell me again how you made your sim Yuni half Japanese to “soften the blow” and how you think as long as you’re being respectful that it shouldn’t be an issue, that as a white admin you should still respect certain boundaries, but yet all you do is perpetuate Yuni as a sexual prop, whos only personality is having sex and you make it known thats all she does? you do the same exact same thing with Yuni’s brother Aito. And no, me not mentioning this to you is not grounds for you to say that you weren't aware of it, when you treated sensitive topics with a need to apologize and rushed it to get over the topic immediately. You have been known and even observed by more than just me to actively seek out asian masc framed sims to interact with, which is already sus in itself. I listened to you complain about how people never wanted to take Yuni seriously or just wanted to use her, so I encouraged us to plot together and create a universe with lore between Yuni and my sim Aleck. That failed because it was going nowhere as I realized that there was always smut elements in their plots. As a writer in general, its tiring and an asian admin, I was not comfortable. And before you feel confident about turning the table onto me about how I should have communicated, I want you to understand that your passive aggressive attitude when it came to confronting me about certain things that involved a ship we had together, put me in a position where I needed to keep you happy as someone I 100% trusted, and considered a good friend. You also had me believe that you worked tirelessly on educating yourself on Yuni’s Japanese background, but still continued to under dress her, and make comments about her body while portraying her as a sex fiend? So how can you apologize to me about your comment and then immediately post to your story after we fell out as friends, basically advertising her off.

Did you not take what I tried talked to you about seriously? Especially since you’re adamant on believing you weren’t to a degree fetishizing Japanese women. Do you think just because you got that “token” talk from me, that you get to continue to have this harmful thinking because I chose not to associate with you anymore. Because I’m confused on how you wanna silence it through your enabler friends. Do not try to flip the script onto me because there is a difference between an asian character that is sexual and a character that is sexual because theyre asian. So unless you want to have a civilized, mature discussion on it, you dont get to decide which is what for you. You’re being called out on it period.

How about you also address how you as a white admin, thought it was okay IC as your sim Yuni to say “I know you watch hentai” towards another asian oc? and then proceeded to say “Dont make it racist, I’m half asian” when they asked if it was because they were asian. What was going on in that head of yours, how was any of that okay to say to you? And then you proceed to compare hentai to choking? You do know that choking + hentai dont always correlate and its oddly specific that you mention it. Especially when interacting with an asian OC. Dont you think thats odd behaviour? I do. Its weird. And you need to reevaluate everything, honestly do better.

And please lets also address how you wouldnt DARE have a black oc but its totally okay for you to have a half asian one? in what sense did that even make to you. You admitted you’re hypocrite for that, thats the only sense you had out of all this. You are a god damn hypocrite. A racist one at that, wether you want to deny it or not.
