"METRO MANILA TEMPERATURE DROPS TO COLDEST DAY OF THE SEASON"
The temperature these past few days made me feel like I was in tagaytay. I guess that's how mother nature deals with human destruction. It is trying to heal everything as my opinion. It was only a few days ago that metro Manila recorded it's coldest day of the season at 18.5 degrees Celsius. This happened last February 1 until now.
The Philippine atmospheric geophysical and astronomical services administration note that these days is the coldest days of the the Northeast monsoon or "amihan" season. The amihan season is expected until last early March, after peaking February. According to other people saying that the corona virus can now affect us because of cold temperatures. Manila is never sweater, only at this time. Ice are melting but march is coming.
As we are expecting, hot season is begin as summer approaches. Watch out for burning hot summer. Yes it's cold weather of the year, but in other country its just a summer for them. I understand because we are living in a tropical country. Many of us can sleep the whole day or night without fan or air on because of humidity level.

5G: The Next Gen Network
Tumblr media
Have you heard the news lately about the upcoming fifth generation wireless technology for digital cellular network? It was rumored back in 2019 that the 5G network is in development and may be released in 2020. 5G is an upgrade form 4G or LTE networks, well 5G offers much faster data download and upload speeds. What's really exciting is all the new services that will be built that we can't foresee
The shift to 5G will undoubtedly change the way we interact with technology on a day-to-day basis, but it’s also an absolute necessity if we want to continue using mobile broadband.
The world is going mobile and we're consuming more data every year, particularly as the popularity of video and music streaming increases. 5G is much better at handling thousands of devices simultaneously, from mobiles to equipment sensors, video cameras to smart street lights
But the question is.. Will you need a new phone for this? well YES, but you don't need to buy a 5G phone, and probably won't for a few years.Because not only are the first-generation 5G phones expensive, their antennas and modems typically work only with particular 5G networks owned by specific mobile carriers. For now let's just wait for the update and news until it can be released here in every city here in the Philippines.

Effects of Corona Virus to Big Tech Companies
Tumblr media
HOW THE VIRUS IS AFFECTING THE TECH INDUSTRY
Just when you thought that this virus is globally troubling to the business in China, the tech industry is also greatly affected by this. The producers of smartphones and other consumer electronics could face fall hits from the loss of revenue and productivity since China is a major market for it's goods and also an big supplier of components of a many consumer products.
Big companies like Apple,Google,Amazon,Tesla,LG,Uber and Microsoft is reportedly closing their stores,Offices in China and also limiting it's business travel to China just to contain the disease and not to spread.
But the virus has brought new challenges to the industry. Social media companies in recent days have been struggling to keep or stop a wave of misinformation or fake news on their platforms, including conspiracy theories about the origin of the virus and misleading health information that may cause panic to the people.
And the longer the outbreak persists, the greater the damage to the industry’s supply chain and bottom line.

TECHNOLOGY: GOOD OR BAD?
Tumblr media
We know that technology is supposed to do good, make us live comfortably and help us be at ease as it helps us in our daily life...
But do you believe that the tool or technology can be good and bad depending on who is using it?
As technology is put into good use, there are others who use it for the opposite use which is "evil". Like when such technological innovations like explosives and atomic energy were discovered it was used for harm than good.
Sometimes the technology that were supposebly useful and can help you in life (ex. phones and computers) were abused by then giving negative effects to the people who are using it especially on students or kids that were developing their social skills and affecting also their mental health, they may also have anxiety due to lack of social skills and rather be at home using the technologies and gadgets they have causing to express boredom in school and lack of interest in learning.
I'm not saying that all technologies are bad and has negative effects, its just that we have to practice to control ourselves and be wise in using such technologies we have. Technologies has its uses and we use them for that but because of that people take advantage of it and use of it against us. The debate and discussion about the Good and the Bad side of the technology is simply said to be amoral, Yet the debate still persists to this day
The point is, even if technology has impacted our health in some negative ways, it has also provided some incredible positive opportunities and revolutions for the long-term improvement of our health and we must remember that technology isn't our master. We're the ones in charge. If democracy means anything, it must mean that.

"Many Are Called But Few are Chosen"
Many Filipinos are struggling in finding a job in our own land. A lot of companies choose the employer that has a high intelligence and has experience on their field. There is discrimination in the process of choosing a worker, but this is the reality. And in our country, the job is continuously decreasing in numbers. As a result, many of the fresh graduates are trying to find an opportunity in other country to labor with high salary unlike in our land.
The number of unemployed Filipino adults rose to 10 million in the third quarter of this year, according to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) jobs report released Saturday.
An SWS survey result conducted from September 27 to 30 shows the joblessness rate rising to 21.5 percent from 20.7 percent in June and 19.7 percent in March.
Composing the ranks of the unemployed are 4.4 million adults who voluntarily left their old jobs, 1.6 million who are first-time job seekers, and 3.9 million “retrenched” or those who lost their jobs due to “economic circumstances beyond their control.” Retrenched are those whose contracts were no longer renewed, whose previous employer closed operations, and who got laid off, the SWS report said.
The study also said there are about 5.3 million jobless Filipino adults in Luzon in September, from just 4.4 million in June. This translates to about a 3.3-percent increase for the northern Philippines.
In Mindanao, there are around 100,000 adults who do not have work, the SWS reported.
Compared to the last quarter, adult joblessness among women is at 31.4 percent, up by 2.9 points from the last quarter, the SWS said.
Almost all age groups except for the 18-to-24-year-olds were affected by higher unemployment rate. Mostly affected was the 35-to-44-year-old range.
The survey was done through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 adults aged 18 years old and above nationwide. Of those surveyed, 53 percent believed they will get a job in the next 12 months, while the rest either said there would be “fewer jobs” for them or they would remain workless.

ROOT CAUSE OF POVERTY
Poverty in the Philippines still continues nowadays. We all know that government and it's administration are making opportunities to help people and to progress our country. But because of the overpopulation, that is also wide here in the Philippines, we can't rise however. Poverty is very difficult to fight on. In that case, instead of focusing on other issues, the government will be stuck on poverty case. Which make us realised that we should be educated enough or specially in decision making. Because it's all been around and still counting. In order for us to help as a citizen, we must study hard so that we will not be the same situation with the poor one's. Not to degrade them instead we can help if could finish and graduate in college.
I think there's a lot of social issues existing in the Philippines. One of the major problem is poverty. This exists because of the government system. And also because of the lazy people that keep on depending on the government. Let's wake up and work hard for survival. Never depend to anyone's help. It is also true that opportunities are less or lacking since big businesses are being controlled by a few. We should help each other to protect the welfare of the filipino.
As what Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray said "Lack of child support not poverty killed their dream's". I believe that every child dreams to experience a great life but they think poverty is a hindrances to achieve that dream. They are mistaken, if all the children are encourage and motivated to study, all children will be given a new hope and this hope will be their strength to rise up and fight poverty themselves. The root of poverty is the lack of education and support from the government. Education is the one of the most important investment a country can make it's people and it's future.

"Fake News is Everywhere"
This is one of the phenomenal problem in social media right now. I think all of us encountered unidentified link, flashing in our screen when we are using our smart phones, specifically in application like Facebook, Google, Twitter and YouTube. If we open it, it gives us information or update us on any current news but we didn't know if it is real or fake. Many research says that fake news can spread faster and faster than the truth. Our country is one of the top users of social media, as part of our daily life and there is a high chance that we are one of the victims of this problem or situation. How to we avoid fake news? There are 5 steps on avoiding it:
1.Evaluate, evaluate, evaluate! This doesn't just apply to news.
2. Google it!
3. Get the information only from the news sources.
4. Tell fact from opinion.
5. Watch out for red flags.
Be mindful in using social media and be a hero in simply reporting the confirmed fake news.

Activity in the main crater in the past 24 hours has been characterized by moderate emission of-white to dirty white steam-laden plumes rising 200-300m high before drifting southwest. Weak streaming from fissure vents along the daang kastila trail is currently on-going. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission was again below instrumental detection due to weak plume activity. The taal volcano recorded 118 volcanic earthquakes including 5 low-frequency events and harmonic tremor that lasted less than 3 minutes. This earthquake signify magmatic activity beneath the taal that could lead to erupted activity at the main crater. Alert level in taal volcano maintained by PHILVOCS. Consequently, this is to stress the possibility of eruption in short notice and that lock down in the Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) is strictly in place. PDZ means the km radius from the volcano, but excluding the 3 barangay's of Agoncillo (Bilibinwang, Subic Ilaya, Banyaga) and three barangay's of Laurel (Gulud, Busu-busu and Bugaan East) which are considered part of the 14km radius Danger Zone (DZ). People are also advised to observe precautions due to ground displacement across fissure's frequent ashfall and minor earthquake's. Communities beside active river channels particularly where Ash from the main eruption phase has thickly deposited should increase vigilance when there is heavy and prolonged rainfall since the Ash can be washed away and from lahar's along the channel. Civil aviation, authorities must advice pilots to avoid flying close to the volcano as airborne Ash and ballistic fragments from sudden explosions and wind remobilized Ash may pose hazards to aircraft. DOST-PHILVOCS is closely monitoring TAAL VOLCANO's activity and any new significant development will be immediately communicated to all stake-holders. Think Twice Before Posting Anything Personal
While social media can have negative effects on a relationship across the board, Shore advocates for the need to be mindful of our partner when interacting on social media. "Don't respond to a post or comment out of emotion," she says. "Take time to process what you have read or seen and allow yourself time to reflect on your thoughts before commenting out of anger or frustration. Remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinions."
In the same vein, while you may be tempted to share all aspects of your life, remember that your partner may not be on the same page: "Keep your personal conversations personal," she says. "There is no need to take your private life public. Posting about your partner’s choice of a birthday present for you or gossiping about your S.O. are communications best left out of the public eye."
