I shot Mary Oliver for the @nytimes a couple of years ago. She later wrote me asking for a print of this photo with her dog Ricky Ricardo. I always promise to send pics but don’t always follow through. I sent her the print because she was extremely sweet to me. I was surprised when I received a copy of one of her books with a hand written note. Such a talented and sweet lady. RIP Ms Oliver.
