Ross opens about the experience of portraying the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer
“while i was filming, I didn’t really feel overwhelmed as i was Dahmer at the time. But a few people noticed that i was different…and actually when i got home, it did take me a little while to be as social as i used to be”

The court is going to sentence the person found guilty of the offense. Your name, sir, was on that verdict. Take care of yourself, young man. I say that to you, sincerely. Take care of yourself. You’re a bright young man. You’d have made a good lawyer. I would’ve loved to have you practice in front of me. But…you went to a different way, partner. It is been a tragedy for this court to see the total waste of humanity that we have experienced here. I don’t have any animosity toward you. I want you to know that. Take care of yourself.

We don’t talk about Eminem and his obsession with Columbine enough. He’s mentioned it so many times in his music but one song I NEVER see mentioned is “White America” and I think I know why.. First of all, the title. A lot of Americans get really offended by that term and how much he shits on America in general throughout the song. Second, I think people leave it out a lot because Eminem really focuses his songs more on Eric than Dylan. A lot of the more popular songs about Columbine are more inspired than Dylan instead, lets be honest, but I think Eminem really feels more for Eric. Even the beginning of the video is a reference to Doom.
Eric’s “boringly normal, suburban” House

Eric Harris was just like any other kid in America. Any other kid in America is capable of becoming an Eric Harris.

Kid in the middle has ‘99 on his shirt and the last picture could represent Eric writing his journal & his suicidal thoughts.

Dylan Klebold’s cross.
Someone wrote “How can anyone forgive you?”, to which someone else replied “Through Jesus Christ that’s how!” before the writing was covered with a poster saying “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
The woman in the last picture was writing “evil bastard” on his cross and was begged to stop and to leave by students. She also defaced Eric’s cross.
Other things written on his cross:
“HATE BREEDS HATE”
“Why?”
“Jesus will forgive”
“NO ONE IS TO BLAME”
“May God bless + keep your family”
“Forgive but never forget!!!!”
“Shame on you DYLAN”
“A face of innocence-a heart taken by Satan…”
“Prayers for your family-their child is lost”
“May God have mercy on your soul”
“I forgive you”
“Sorry we all failed you”

Killers of American Horror Story and the Real Life Murderers Who Inspired Their Creation
R. Franklin and Richard Speck
Appearing in Season One: Murder House, R Franklin enters the house at night while it is being lived in by student nurses. He binds and stabs both of the girls present to death. This is practically identical to the real life case of Richard Speck who murdered 8 student nurses in the same way on one night in 1966 (the date in the show is given as 1968).
Tate Langdon and the Columbine High School shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold
Also being portrayed in Season One, Tate Langdon is responsible for the fictional Westfield High School shooting in 1994 in which 15 people die. Langdon wore similar attire to the trenchcoats donned by Harris and Klebold. Also like Columbine, a large part of the shooting takes place in the school library. Langdon is additionally described as asking one of his victims if she believed in God and shooting her after she says “Yes”; similar again to claims made about what transpired during the Columbine massacre.
Doctor Oliver Thredson and Ed Gein
Doctor Thredson (aka ‘Bloody Face’) makes his appearance in Season Two: Asylum. His true to life counterpart is Edward Theodore Gein who was a serial killer responsible for the murders of at least 2 women in Plainfield, Wisconsin during the 1950′s. Like real life serial killer Ed Gein, Thredson has severe mommy issues. Also like Gein, Thredson murdered women and mutilated their bodies to create horrific household objects out of skin and bones.
James Patrick March and H.H. Holmes
James Patrick March and Henry Howard Holmes were both serial killers responsible for constructing ‘murder hotels’. Holmes’ ‘murder castle’ (built in Chicago in the 1880′s) served as direct inspiration for the Hotel Cortez, the setting for AHS’ fifth season. The true number of Holmes’ murder victims is unknown but estimates range from 20 to above 200. AHS’ James March is shown to be equally prolific and brutal, using the hotel’s concealed chutes and chambers to dispose of bodies just like real life killer H.H. Holmes.
I also did a similar post to this for Mindhunter, another favourite show of mine so check that out if it’s your thing too.

PHOTOS: Inside Jeffrey Dahmer’s Apartment
Dismembered body parts were found in the 55 gallon blue drum (dissolving in acid), the white freezer and his refrigerator. Skulls were found in his refrigerator, closet and the black filing cabinet beside his bed (also where he kept 74 polaroids of his victims).
