Hi,

I’ve been researching both theistic and atheistic Satanism and have noticed that Lucifer, Satan, and Baphomet are all names which appear frequently.

Despite trying to do my own research I cannot find a clear answer as to what the differences between these figures are and was wondering if you might be able to help? :)

Lucifer, Satan and Baphomet.

Some people think they're the same.

Some people don't.

I will tell my opinion on this.

Lucifer

In my opinion, Lucifer is the "evil" god of Christian faith. The name for this Devil came from the Christian bible. Some people think that it's just another name for Satan, but in my opinion, it's a whole another being.

Baphomet

Baphomet is a pagan deity, that was later embraced by various occult and mystical writers. Baphomet is a deity allegedly worshipped by the Knights Templar that subsequently became incorporated into various occult and Western esoteric traditions. Baphomet has been associated with the "Sabbatic Goat" image drawn by Éliphas Lévi, composed of binary elements representing the "symbolization of the equilibrium of opposites":half-human and half-animal, male and female, good and evil. Lévi's intention was to symbolize his concept of balance, with Baphomet representing the goal of perfect social order.

Baphomet, although often confused with Satan of Biblical tradition, this entity is technically a different demon altogether.

For most Theistic Satanists, Baphomet is just a symbol, but for others he's a being.

For me, as a Theistic Satanist, he is only a representation of our Lord.

Satan

Satan, the Lord of lust, or in Christian faith the Devil of all evil is the Lord that i worship.

Most Theistic Satanists worship Satan.

There are a lot of origins of him.

The christian faith origin is that our Lord, Satan is a fallen angel, who was banished from the heavens by Jesus (the God of Christian faith).

By the pagans, it has been said that Satan is a fallen star (or a planet)

I believe the pagan origin, because i do not believe in Christian Gods and angels.

Disrespecting Our Lord, Satan.

One sees a lot of "Satanists" on here, saying that they want to call Satan to "let him Fuck them".

One sees a lot of "Satanists" saying "i would love to have Satan's cock in me".

And so on.

Sexualizing Satan is extremely disrespectful, even though he is the Lord of lust.

Christians

There is a stigma surounding Our Lord Satan. Because of one book, which does not have evidence supporting it (except that one piece of land and the books followers).

Satan, by a lot or people (mostly Chrsitans, Muslims (Iblis), Jews...) is hated and seen as an evil force, because of books and a little bit of evidence, which (in my understanding) can't be seen as evidence.

I believe that all people should accept all religions, even if someone does not agree with them. You should respect and try to learn more about the topic, before jumping to conclusions.

I recommend books.

Books, that have nothing in them about Nazis/fascists.

As I said, I don't support Nazis.

I don't support the people behind the books.

I only use the books for learning about satanism, because there is not a lot of information online, that people can learn from.

I don't care about the author's past, I don't care what they do or what they are. I only care about Satanism and the books. If something in the books is about how "great" or "right" Nazis are, I will not recommend it.

I do not support fascists or Nazis.

To be honest, I get the books illegally. I don't support them in any way.

I think people need to learn somehow, and these are good books. They explain everything well.

Types of Satanic rituals:

Sex ritual:

Charm or spell. Use it to attract someone you want to fulfill your sexual desires with. If you don't have a clear person, or a vision of the person, the spell won't work.

Rules:

Compassion ritual:

The purpose of these rituals is to help others or/and yourself.

Known as a hex, curse etc... Used to do others harm; out of hatred, anger etc...

In my experience, Satan doesn't have scents that he doesn't like, but our Lord does like lavender the most. Lavender candles, lavender incense.

I mostly use lavender candles and rose scented incense.

I'd like to clarify something.

I've been keeping my head low, because i don't like conflicts and everyone is attacking me, which is not helping my mental health.

Anyways.

As i mentioned "satanism" is older than the other religions such as Christianity, IN ANOTHER SENSE THAN YOU THINK.

Me (my opinion), and in my understanding, the satanic bible (again, my opinion about the satanic bible), meant it a whole other way.

I didn't mean satanism. I didn't mean believing in Satan, i meant praying and believing in "evil" gods/goddesses.

I'll give you an example:

The pagans said that there were "evil" gods/goddesses and some people prayed and believed in them and not in the "good" ones.

I meant that. I don't know what the satanic bible meant, but in my understanding, that's what it meant.

And i didn't mean to offend anyone who thinks that Lucifer and Satan are the same. I respect your opinion.

There are books for theistic satanism, but they don't explicitly say that it's for theistic satanism. But the atheistic satanist books still hold the same values as theistic satanism.

I would recommend you read:

Samaël angel of death, many people believe he's lucifer or believe he's satan (every story is different))

Samaël (The Venom Of God) is said to be a fallen angel, that's why he's confused with Satan. But Samaël is regarded as good and evil. He is said to work under the command of God.

In Jewish lore, in Midrashic texts, he's considered to be a member of the heavenly host with often grim and destructive duties. One of Samaël's greatest roles in Jewish lore is that of the main angel of death and the head of satans. Although he condones the sins of man, he remains one of God's servants.

Samaël was said to be the The Serpent who tempted Eve into sin. He seduced her and she had Samaël's baby named Cain. (Cain is from the bible. Committed the first murder by killing his own brother.)

Samaël then became the consort of Adam's first wife, Lilith, who is said to be his sexual partner. He created with her a host of demon children.

God feared that the Samaël and Lilith would plague the world with their heinous progenies, and castrated the corrupt angel.

According to "The Ascension of Moses, Samaël is also mentioned as being in 7th Heaven.

Every time i feel awful, like i want the world to end, i think to myself: "Would Satan want me to feel like this? Or would he want me to acknowledge the situation and have rational thoughts?"

I think about that for a second, and I really do start thinking rationally. I really do start feeling better.

Satan is knowledge. Satan is feeling good about yourself. Satan is love.
