thinking about the anguish mav felt after bradley left. the guilt, the heartache. it’s the longest night of his life and yet he has to wake up and go to work the next day like nothing happened. he second guessed every parenting choice, wondering if he did something different ten years ago fate would have led them on a different path. (fate was always going to lead them here. it was inevitable.)
