The way white leftists/communists/marxists love to condemn the wars of independence/anti-imperialist wars taking place in the Global South (in Algeria, Vietnam, Nicaragua, the fighters were too violent, too hateful, they were terrorists, etc) but gladly romanticize the French and Russian revolution as if the French people didn't guillotined countless people (and Louis XVI's young son was abused and pretty much left to die) and the Bolcheviks murdered the entire royal, including the children lmao. I don't blame them at all but to quote Lenin, “during a reactionary war, a revolutionary class cannot but desire the defeat of its government.”
I always say this but we made a mistake when we started looking toward white revolutions and forms of fighting back + white theorists to form our own methods and theory of fighting back, rather than looking at the revolutions and strategies of people of color. You are right. The French revolution is heavily romanticized as a form of fighting back against oppression etc., in the same breath as white theorists and writers being the standard to go to for discussions of anarchism and communism. this has honestly done nothing but push forth academia and also prioritize whiteness as the standard and guideline for fighting back.
This is why, as you've said, non white revolutions and anarchy are always looked down upon, because we've set a white standard.

I want people to remember that Leah Jeffries is still a CHILD and despite our vision for the character in the show, she doesn't deserve any negativity sent her way for a role she revived by the same people who wrote and gave us Percy and his many adventures .
This much is very true, but unfortunately nonblack people typically don't see black children as well, children. black children who play roles that were usually meant for, or were prior played by white and nonblack actors/resses, usually get so much hate and harassment. unfortunately, nonblack people are incapable of seeing black children as children when it comes to being racist.
