“What are you guys doing today?”

Raven would have never guessed that he wasn’t a morning person. Typically, Richard was up before everyone in the Tower. He’d be showered, dressed, eating breakfast, and working when by the time she made her way to the kitchen, but vacation had showed her a different side of him.

It was almost ten o’clock in the morning, and he was still buried in a nest of white sheets. Naked and messy haired, he rested on his stomach looking at her with sleepy blue eyes.

“We’re going to go shopping.” She reminded him, taking a seat on the bed, scratching his scalp tenderly.

He smirked, groaning happily at her touch. “So, you’ll be gone most of the day?” He knew Selina would drag her to every shop on the island. The thief finally had a female companion to shop with on vacation.

“I can’t help but think Selina would prefer Kori as a shopping buddy.”

“No,” He shook his head, rolling his shoulders. “Selina likes to shop, but I don’t think she can compete with Kori.”

Raven chuckled. She didn’t think she knew anyone that could shop like Kori.

“Do you need any money?”

“No.” Raven answered, letting her fingers trail from his hair to the back of his neck.

“Are you sure?” He pushed, sighing happily. “You could buy a new bikini.”

She could hear the smirk in his voice. “I think that is more for you than me.”

“I think we both win.” Richard chuckled. “Get my credit card out my wallet. Go buy stuff.”

“I have my own credit card.”

“Take mine.” He insisted. Sitting up, he reached for the nightstand next to them. He opened the drawer, digging inside.

“I don’t look much like a “Richard Grayson”.”

“No, but,” He smiled warmly. “I think you look like a Mrs. Richard Grayson.” He presented her with small open blue velvet box.

Raven’s eyes widened, looking at the box. “What?”

“I said I think you look more like a Mrs. Richard Grayson.” He repeated, opening the little box.

“Did you just propose to me?” The large sapphire sitting on the diamond wrapped band stared back at her.

“Yea.” He yawned, leaning up against headboard. “I figured you’d think something was up if I invited to a fancy dinner, and I wanted to surprise you.”

“I’m surprised.” She nodded, slowly looking at the ring. “Definitely surprised.”

He pulled her into his lap. “Do you like the ring?”

She picked the ring up, examining it. “It’s gorgeous.” She slid the ring on her finger, wiggling her hand to test the feel of it on her ring.

“So,” He asked, resting his chin against her shoulder. “You’ll marry me?”

“Of course.” Raven grinned, turning to face him. Wrapping her arms around his neck, placing a gentle to kiss to his lips. “I’m going to be late shopping.” She murmured against his lips.

“Why?” His brows wrinkled.

She crawled underneath the covers, pulling them around their bodies. “We have to celebrate.”
