this anti-criticism/critical analysis wave some of y'all like to be on is making some of you bitches soft. 'don't like, don't watch, don't like, don't read, if you didn't like the game then why did you play it?'

maybe some of us come into a piece of art hopeful and excited for the possibilities, and are disappointed when it falls short. maybe some of us want to critique parts of the art that could have been stronger. is that going to kill you. will you die due to not seeing a constant stream of smoke blown up the creator's ass.

i know yana doesn't plan to write a romance in kuro and said she doesn't like writing romance because she isn't good at it but... it sure is something that so many of the female characters have love as their main motivation (ie. madam red, lizzy, beast, sieglinde's mom?) in a way it's yknow... hmm...

that's a good point! of all things, her dynamic with grell is really unexplored, so i hope we get more of the two later. after all, grell was the one to kill her when she realized there's no way she could kill ciel, so I wonder how they would interact. Would madam red want revenge against grell instead...?

but yeah the family dynamics are so messed up considering what's happening. like, did madame red find out that o!ciel was the one to come back, not rc? another sad idea I had is if madam red and lizzy interacted at the hall. just another trauma lizzy has to endure lolol.

i guess my original point was who is more likely to change after becoming a bizarre doll. because in doll's case, she seemed to have gone from revenge on o!ciel -> death -> reanimated -> revenge on o!ciel. I wonder if madam red reflected and decided to do something different. save both of her nephews? fight against the super natural? (i think she knows about sebastian being a demon at least)

gonna be honest... I think the most interesting person to come back as a bizarre doll is joker. I know we're excited to see madame red again and doll kinda covers the circus arc but!

I feel like... there isn't much development that can happen with these two off the bat. After coming back to life, what kind of conclusions would they come to? they won't see themselves in the wrong or want to change. they'll look at the past and think, "I died because I was weak. because i cared for ciel too much. but I'm alive again and I'll never make the same mistake. I'll never hesistate again."

but joker? joker genuinely seemed to be on the edge of changing his ways before he died. like he knows the whole truth of what baron kelvin did. he knows about the arm prosthetics, the cult, and implicitly all the horror of what happened to ciel. He's the only one that showed so much regret for what he did and lost everything. what would happen if he came back? would he really just get mindless revenge against ciel?

It's not a coincidence that a lot of posts about "how to be a good member of fandom" never discuss racism.

It's not a coincidence.

Whiteness is an assumed default, people of color are assumed to be interlopers and/or unimportant, and the "rules" are supposed to handle instances of overt racism, which they don't.

ok but seeing doll coming back to life and snake possibly getting reanimated too... I don't think we realized how horrifying this is in context. that means even if you died, you can be brought back to life without your will. it's not the end of your plot line. legit, so many problems ciel "solved" was just killing people willy nilly, without considering other options because he didn't want to think about it, but now he's gonna have to think about it! because it doesnt matter anymore if you kill someone, or you get killed, some freak will build you back from ground up. you can't find relief in death anymore.

I'm sorry but I laughed out loud after seeing jokers face after hearing the baron's/ciels backstory like.

you really wonder how little he knew (did he ever go into the basement before??) and now he's hearing about why the baron was involved with the cult and everything that happened to ciel and he's like HWAT????? bro. you should've just left 😭
