Do you know where the actual design for the plumbus really took shape? As far as I can tell, it was Justin just sending some improvised gibberish to the studio and leaving it up to them to actually create he amazing, amazing visuals.
Well, Justin’s very much in the studio with us (unless you’re talking about animation, which is in Vancouver), but you’re on the right track.
Usually when launching an episode, the storyboard artists are given ample direction and design reference for the execution of it. Interdimensional Cable was always a different beast. We were assigned a skit, and given…audio. That’s about it. No designs, no script (usually). So, that’s when we really got to use our imaginations and have fun!
The Plumbus skit was storyboarded by Dan O’Connor, who, as far as I know, made up all the visuals himself, including the design of the Plumbus. :)
THIS is how easy it should be when someone tells you to refer to them with a different name over their birth one. It’s literally THIS easy.
There’s nothing wrong with asking someone to refer to your with the name that makes you most happy and comfortable! You’re not being “unrealistic” or “inconvenient!” If someone refuses to do so then THEY’RE the one who’s wrong, and you deserve better!!!
Thank you, Adventure Time, for showing kids how it should be!!
I want an official shirt covered in Mortys in different poses and with different expressions bordered with the words “I love Morty, and I hope Morty loves me.” I want this to exist and I want it on my body. If somebody with the power sees this, the idea is all yours.
