"Am I?" He asked teasingly. Brad always felt happier when he was with Kitty, even when they were talking about each others problems.He listened carefully to every word she said. He was baffled. He couldn't believe that someone would ever feel that way about him, especially someone as nice and pretty as Kitty. "You took the words right out of my mouth. You seem to do that a lot." He told her sincerely. "And I'm not trying to be sappy or anything. I'm completely serious. You make so happy, and you're the person that I trust the most.That's why I want to ask you something." He grabbed her hand. "Kitty Wilde, will you be my girlfriend?" His heart was beating extremely fast because of how nervous he was. He knew that she would most likely say yes, but that still didn't keep him from worrying about the chance that she might say no. This was a big step for both of them.

Kitty laughed in reply. “That’s okay, you’re cute when you look foolish.” She smiled at him. She couldn’t believe that he actually liked her back, it wasn’t something she ever expected. Maybe she liked him ever since she met him, but she just didn’t know it. All she knew was that she had feelings for him. “I want us to be more than friends too,” she replied. She honestly did, but she just didn’t know if she was good enough. Maybe she was being paranoid again. My god Kitty, can’t you just accept the fact that you’re happy for once? “I want to be with you Brad,” Kitty continued. “Because you make me feel happy. Like, really truly happy. I could tell you anything and I know you wouldn’t judge me.” She looked at him in the eyes, wondering what he would say. Maybe for once, she wouldn’t have to worry so much. She could stop hiding from people, and start being nicer. Maybe Brad was changing her for the better. She smiled again, trying to keep herself from going crazy from all these “maybe’s”.

Oh no, don't feel stupid! You're awesome. I want to know. Tell me! I probably am. I don't blush that much though. Haha. That's really sweet of you to say. Then just ignore those people who are not nice. Oh alright, since you're forcing me to. Haha. That sounds like fun. Yeah, I do. I work as a waiter at this restaurant & bar called Squawkers. I work there along with two of my friends. It's not bad. Deal then. 

Well you’re right about that part. Now I feel a little stupid. *face palm*. Maybe? Maybe not? Maybe I had the idea to get together with you to prank call a bunch of people. The world may never know. Hah! There goes that blush again! You must be as red as a tomato! Eh, not everyone is as nice as you are Braddy-Boy. I will not take no for an answer. You are going to sing for me and that’s final! If it helps I’ll sing with you too. I’m going to be working at a performing arts camp in four weeks. I’m excited! Do you have a job? I’ll do the class if you sing with me !

Brad sighed. "Thank god that you understood what I meant, otherwise I would have looked very foolish." He said, laughing softly. He couldn't help the smile that formed on his face as he heard her say that she liked him as well. He felt overjoyed. This was the first time that he'd felt like this in years. "I know what I want, and that's for us to be more than friends. What do you want?" He asked her sincerely. He's only ever had one legit relationship in the past and it was in the 9th grade, before everything happened. Some would even say that it doesn't count, since he had been young. Ever since then he's never gotten as close with anyone as he has with Kitty, he's never had these sort of strong feelings for anyone. He didn't want to waste anymore time, he wanted to be with her.

"Oh," Kitty replied, blushing. She finally understood. "I love being confused by you too," she said with a laugh. "And... I really like you too. I like you a lot. I've honestly never felt this way about anyone before, so I really don't know what happens from here," she admitted. What were they now? Brad did kiss her, didn't he? He said he liked her, so what does that mean? She's been in stupid high school two-day relationships before, but never a real one. She didn't know what a real relationship even was. Brad was also her first real kiss. She had never felt this happy before in her life.

I thought we were already past the beginning.. Haha. Did I now? Does that mean that you're going to prank call me? Oh geez. Really? I find that hard to believe. Oh no, I don't really sing anymore. I would only make a fool out of myself. I've heard about it, but I have yet to see it. When do you start your job, and what is it? I hope you do!

Brad, this just may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.  Haha, now you’ve got the idea wormed into my head! I’m going to have to make this prank calling happen! Blush away Brad, it just makes you cuter haha. Thank you Brad. I don’t get it as much as people tend to think. Brad, that’s it I’m making you sing with me!  Seussical the Musical was my favorite it was so much fun! That’s why I love them. Well I’m bored right now, but I know when my job starts I won’t be as bored haha. But that’s a good idea, I’ll look into that for winter break.

Why not try telling everyone to take you seriously when you need them to? Yeah, everyone has different reasons. I would kill for some of your optimism. Maybe you're right though, maybe I can fix things with them when I go to visit them, who knows.
